I personally try to stay away from names with the same first letter.

 

I like Ethan,Callen,Logan and Zachary the best!!!

 

Alexander (I am partial) or Christian (sounds great with Preston and Layton) are my favorites!

 

I like these names for your little grandbaby....by the way, she has done a great job with her names, this is a great list, i would be having trouble too!!

Out of her revised list, Nicholas is the clear standout. It makes a lovely brother for Preston and Layton.

I like Aiden, Mason or Spencer. I kind of lean towards the last two as they are not as popular as Aiden. I like how she has picked names that are not very common. Mason and Spencer seem to fit right in!

I would pick something not very common as I said in PP. I like Cooper.

 

Oh,just wanted to add that all three of my son's names are on that list:
GARRETT,ETHAN,CONNOR

 

Patricia, I was really pulling for Garrett or Connor, how funny that you have boys named that! I love those names, and Ethan too! I think any of them would sound great with Preston and Layton.

DD is so funny, she changes her mind every day but is so stressed out about not having a name yet! I keep reminding her that she has almost four months -- and that this is part of the fun of having a baby!!! I just have to laugh at her silliness!

Today's names (which I've begun referring to as "names du jour" ) are...

Gage Lawrence (Lawrence is my DH's middle name, since Gage James doesn't sound good)

Mason James

Not sure where all the others went in the past week. I don't think she's really ruled much of anything out yet so her list is actually growing instead of getting shorter!

This really is the fun part, though, isn't it?!? Of course, I'm not the mom so I don't have to worry about making the ultimate decision!

and I still REALLY like Shawn as mn,tell your dd she won't regret using it and might wish she had later,esp if she doesn't have any more kids,etc...
