I change her diapers ever so often and wash her bottom and make sure it is dry and let her go with out a diaper as much as possible (still summr here, thank goodness). I have tried every bum creams and lotions and ointments.

Please help because it has been almost a week and i feel so sorry for her. any home remedy that works perhaps????? :umm:

Congrats on the teeth!! My dd had a horrible rash for almost a week, i just happened to have a doctor appt and thank goodness. It turned out she had thrush. I felt so bad. Dr gave me an ointment which cleared it up in a couple hours.Hope she feels better soon.

I had to go to the doc to get some ointment. It really cleared it up but I don't remember the name. It is like butt creme on steriods!!! I also use powders for their bums.

All my kids have gotten rashes when they have teethed. Does she have anymore teeth coming in now? That could be the cause for the rash staying on longer. Also, are there any bumps? The first couple of times DD got teeth she also got a yeast infection. Maybe it was just a coincidence. Anyways, if it is yeast infection, then the rash won't go away until she is given an anti-biotic designed for yeast infections.

    HTH!
    Congrats on the teeth! :)

My kids also get bad rashes when they teeth. The only thing that works for us is the A&D. I also give them baths and let them soak for a while and then air dry for a few minutes.
