I know a lot of schools have already ended. My girls finish Jun 21. But June 19,20 and the 21st are all 1/2 days.

This time is insane. Tomorrow is field day and both girls are having a butterfly test after field day. I guess the teachers want to make sure they stay focused.
They have a book report due on Friday as well as a math packet that is mostly busy work. Girls still have dance. Their recital is June 15th. Tomorrow morning before school Dani has play practice. They both have brownies after school, then soccer tryouts for next year's u9 team followed by dance.

Please tell me I'm not the only one with this end of year being so crazy. I also volunteered to do the PTA's school tool box for next year.

Our last day is June 14th, also with the last 3 days as early dismissal. My kids actually are doing less. This week one day was spent on DARE graduation, tomorrow is the DARE picnic, and Friday is Field day. They have their last computer writing assignment for the year due tomorrow. But, I think grades are due sometime next week, so they can get the report cards ready to go home on the last day. I have no ideas what they will do over the next two weeks!

We finished school last week and, yes, the two weeks prior were crazy. Started with Teacher Appreciation Breakfast on May 6 (cooking and serving), then SCC Meeting after school on 13th (more cooking), school cultural celebration, PTA bake sale fundraiser, volunteer appreciation b'fast and AR carnival on the 17th (rehearsals, baking, setup/breakdown and supervising), potluck/breakup on the 22nd, reading class break up party on the 23rd (please bring only Japanese treats, what?) babyshower/potluck, homeroom party, and last day of school on the 24th (cooking, cooking, cooking, teacher gifts and treats for party). Add to that Sprit Week during the last week (dress like a genius, dress your best, brands, crazy hair, mismatch), organizing the staff flash mob for the last assembly (everyone wants to be in it nobody wants to practice), regular homework until the 2nd last day, and we had to get everything off the floor so the custodians can wax it this summer.

Outside of school we had Spring Showcase on the 26th with regular classes plus extra 2-hour rehearsals on Saturdays (3 numbers but only 1 costume this year, thank goodness), figuring out the programme, costuming, and generally helping put the show together. The day of the show was full dress rehearsal in the morning and performance in the afternoon. I was backstage the whole time and haven't actually watched my own kids perform live for the last three years. It was almost a relief when the dog destroyed both riding helmets and the girls opted to cancel horseback riding, except that we now have to get new helmets.
