Favorite summer activity?

 

Hmmmm...can be a real pain packing, etc...but camping. The kids love it!

It is and it isn't. Depends on situations but I knew it would be hard. Just some things are harder than others!

So far I haven't been put in this situation yet but I'd trust my parents, not so much my MIL ...she shouldn't be driving by herself much less anyone else. A lot of our younger friends scare me bc they're always texting and driving.

Talkatone. Our cellphones need to be replaced so its my temporary cell phone.

Yes I do, she's my mom's best friend. We have had our moments, like when she acted like I took advantage of her precious baby boy (because I'm older) But all in all it's good.

No, it always chips off my fingernails ( unless I had acrylics .. don't know why that is) within days if not a day.

When it comes to painting fingernails/toenails ... Are you traditional with colors or go wild with funky designs or colors?

 

Not necessarily so traditional with colors as I like a nice funky purple or deep blue sometimes, but am not a fan of the new nail art. I also don't like some greens or yellows because it looks like nail fungus to me. Ewww.

What are you plans for this weekend?

 

I'm spending Friday with the family and then heading down to Wilmington for Saturday and an overnighter. We're celebrating the last two girls in our group finally joining us in their thirties. I'm sure it will be wild.

There is a shop down here called Maurice's ... I freakin love that store! I can go in and buy the whole store, they have their own brand. And their jeans are great!

Yesterday. Too many folks wanna be barefooted in this house, I get down on hands and knees and scrub the old fashion way. It's therapeutic.

Um... we didn't have wedding colors. My sister and best friend wore brown linen dresses, does that count?

As far as creepy crawlers go ... Snakes ....they freak me out!

Do you have plans for Valentine's day?

 

not yet. Probably nothing. Maybe I'll convince my MIL to have the girls for a sleepover and DH and I will go out to see a movie. We have a list that we want to see but no time.

On my 7th right now, will probably be adding number 8 within the next year.


Do your parents still live in your 'childhood home'?

 

Ha! We're a military family so I never had a childhood home ... Home was where the Navy sent us!

Do you actually sit down for dinner at the dinner table as a family without tv, phones, etc or something else?

 

Absolutely! Every night we eat dinner together and no electronics allowed. I have on occasion tried to sneak my Kindle when I'm in the middle or end of a good book and my husband will give me a talkin' to. :laughing:

Kate I think thats awesome, a lot of my friends seem to kind of have a free for all and they're all on their phones and everything, growing up we always had dinner together and I loved it!

As for favorite genre ... Thats a hard one it all depends on my mood but probably what would be considered women's fiction or mystery

Kidding (sort of). In a non-sexual way, he has really pretty lips. I hope my girls have them (its hard to tell now as their mouths NEVER STOP MOVING.

I have no kids but the most annoying my niece and nephews watch is shaun the sheep, although basically any on ABC 3 KIDS are pretty annoying.
