    70. We've finally lowered it from the 72 that we kept it at while the girls were young and that 2 degrees can be felt on cold mornings!!

Tell me about a neat city to visit and what there is to do there. :)

Mogo. It is a older style (1980s) town, it is absolutely beautiful! You spend hours walking around the antique shops, this amazing lolly shop that does very yummy boiled lollies. Go to the zoo.

    Do you straighten your hair?

I did. Clarinet in 5th/6th grade.

Is your basement clean/neat? Or a storage nightmare?

  9. cheezewhiz24

    cheezewhiz24 Well-Known Member TS Moderator

I played the Clarinet, too. :)

No basement here but jeez I wish we had one.

    Least favorite color.

I don't have a least favorite color but I don't wear pastels because I'm so pale they wash me out. Does that count?

    Biggest vice?

Some of my work outfits, I had one black with blue & green Moroccan inspired design shirt that I really liked.

    Sensible heals or not-so-sensible heals?

  13. ECUBitzy

    ECUBitzy Well-Known Member

I (when I can wear them) love Get Me Heels (ya like how I made that PG?). It's how I used to elongate my legs. Now? Ballet flats or boots. :D

    becasquared Well-Known Member TS Moderator

I love unsensible heels. My husband does not, I'm already five inches taller than him.

One quick brag about your youngest child?

  15. Mama_Kim

    Mama_Kim Well-Known Member

Craig is my youngest. He has had a great Senior year. He scored very well on his ACT (first time out, although one point lower than his twin), has maintained an A average taking AP classes last semester and this, was accepted into his first choice college (and is still holding out for the honors program), all while attending all of his school's football games and basketball games as an avid fan (and master griller at tailgates in the fall) and working 10 - 20 hours a week at a local grocery store. AND he makes us laugh. Every day.

So, what is your favorite thing about parenting thus far?

  16. ECUBitzy

    ECUBitzy Well-Known Member

I didn't realized I'd posted earlier. I couldn't think of a question so I put my phone down. Hm.

Anyhow, favorite part of parenting so far? I love watching their personalities develop. They're so clearly their own people, it's fun to watch how each of them approaches the world.

What's one luxury item you would love to have (one that's just a little out of reach)?

    writing or typing?

  19. AKilburn

    AKilburn Well-Known Member

Typing seems to be all I do but i love to sit down and write actual letters to family and friends, or write DH a love note every once in a while and put it in thia car for him to read on his way to work, the art of writing letters is quickly going away unfortunately.

Funny cards or mushy to your DH?

  20. ECUBitzy

    ECUBitzy Well-Known Member

We have a tradition of one of each in our family. Of course, I'm so much more mushy than Paul or anybody else. ;)

    Share an embarrassing story!

I just realized we hit 21 pages .... Thats what someone thought we'd get to with this thread.

An emarassing story ... Goodness I have so many to choose from! The most recent was being in court for docket day ... It had been one of those days from the beginning, all my nice suits id forgotten to pick up at the dry cleaners the night before so luckily I had some wash and wear suits from limited, I was running super late and was got dressed in the laundry room and ran out the door, ran to my office, loaded up my truck with the boxes of files, lugged them into court, getting everything situated on the table and a defendant ( the ones that are incarcerated are seated in the jury box on docket day or motions) says " uhh ma'am you dropped something ", I ignored him, he said it again louder, I looked on the floor thinking it was a pen or something and didn't see anything and then one if the guys with jail transportation who i was pretty good friends with came up to me and told me " did you forget to actually put your panties on today???" I almost slapped him and then he told me they fell out of my pant leg! Thank god the Judge hadn't taken the bench yet!

What was it that first attracted you to your DH/so?

Is there a difference between purse and handbag?

  25. ljcrochet

    ljcrochet Well-Known Member TS Moderator

I consider a purse and a handbag the same thing.

What type of purse/handbag do you carry?

  26. AKilburn

    AKilburn Well-Known Member

Huge! Lol! It's a b makowsky purse that mom got me, she got it for next to nothing and I love it. Typically though im carrying the diaper bag, its not often I actually use my purse.

What was your favorite memory of twinfancy?

Technically it's a Don Bluth cartoon but I LOVE The Secret of NIMH. My favorite actual Disney movie is the cartoon Robin Hood from back in the day.

Your least favorite thing about twinfancy...

    Lack of sleep.

What is one thing that you miss about being single? (assuming you are married)

  31. Mama_Kim

    Mama_Kim Well-Known Member

I haven't been single since I was 22 (and before that I was with DH since age 18) so I honestly don't know what it's like to actually be single.

How many times have you been to Disney World (since so many of you seem to love it and DH is in Orlando right now)?

  32. Utopia122

    Utopia122 Well-Known Member

ZERO...but my kids are dying to go.

Is there one thing that your mom...or whomever you lived with when you were younger...threw away that you have never forgotten about?

  33. AKilburn

    AKilburn Well-Known Member

My mom didn't throw it away but gave it to a neighbor that she barely knew during a garage sale ... Our precious moments nativity scene ... It was my favorite and I had wanted it. When I moved into my own place in college i knew she didn't put it up any longer ( she had a new nativity set) I asked her for it and she told me she had it in the garage sale but ended up giving it to her neighbor ... Seriously I pouted ... So that christmas she found that same one on eBay and got it for me for Christmas!

Are you still friends with any of your childhood friends?

  34. MNTwinSquared

    MNTwinSquared Well-Known Member

Nope, they all ditched me when I got married.

If you could not live in the state/country you live currently, where would you move to and why?

  35. ljcrochet

    ljcrochet Well-Known Member TS Moderator

I would move some where warm. I'm so done ith winter already.
What did you eat for dinner? Did you kids eat it as well?
