Im thinking thia might help all of our expectant moms and dads here. ... For all the experienced moms .... What is the 1 item you have that you couldn't live without (aside from the obvious)

    Mine would be my swings!

Now that the twins are finally in their crib the swings are where they take their nap but for the first 3 months thats strickly where they slept bc of reflux issues, them in their swings and DH and I taking turns on thw couch.

Our pack-n-plays! We had one in the main living area of our house and one in our bedroom. The girls slept, together, in them from arrival home until almost six months!

My bouncy seats - it allows them to always have a place to sit no matter what room we are in.

I always have trouble with this question, but I think my answer is: a good jogging stroller. Not for the first 6 months, but its significance in our lives from 6 months to 4 years cannot be overstated.

We really love our "Itzbeen" timers. Check them out on amazon. We use them to primarily to time how long it's been since they last ate...really invaluable when you are wondering if they can possibly be hungry and then you look and see its been two plus hours. We have two, one for ech baby.

We still keep a steno pad and write down times of feedings , how many oz, and diapers. If I'm out amd about I put it in the note pad in my phone and write it down when I get home.
