Well check up at doc went well... Signed release to get my tubes tide (thank god) boys are measuring 4 1/2 lbs each so I'm happy with that. On the other hand my baby b has flipped to breech after both being vertex just a week ago... Doc still says its ok to deliver vaginally... But now I am kinda concerned about the risks of that with him being breech.. I truly didn't want a cesarean due to recovery time and being a stay at home mom with a 1 1/2 yr old... Would love any advice from you ladies of course!! Next appointment is next Friday and we will be almost 37 weeks so plans will be made at that time if I haven't had them yet getting very very anxious !!!!

If your doctor is still comfortable with it, I'd say go ahead and keeping planning for a vaginal birth. Baby B might flip to vertex once his brother is out of there - I've heard of that happening quite a bit.

Yup, he may definitely flip once he's got the room. Your doc may manually turn him. Your doc may also do a breech extraction. Or you could even just let the little guy make his own way out. ;) There are some different risks with a breech positioned babe being born vaginally as compared to a vertex babe, however, whether or not those risks are more or less than those associated with a cesarean birth, only you can decide. Also keep in mind that regardless of position (and all else being equal) there are benefits to babe from being born vaginally.

My baby A was vertex and B breech and they were born vaginally. The practice I was with actually prefers that configuration. I think it was three pushes and he was out! You have to decide what you are comfortable with but thought you would want to know an experience with this. Good luck!

Thanks for the support guys!! Vaginally is definitely the way I want to go esp after delivering my daughter that way without any problems! I'm going to stick to my plan for now !

My baby b was breech at 38 weeks and vertex at 39 without my knowing she had made the switch. My doctor had experience delivering breech babies without a c so I was comfortable trying for vaginal even if she didn't turn.

My Baby B was breech, we went in to delivery knowing he was and he was born, feet first with no issues. Out in 2 pushes. As long as you are comfortable, your doc is confident and your baby B is safe and tolerating the birth, you should be able to try and see what happens. It worked a-ok for us!

My baby A was vaginal breech and we had no problems, thank G-d. Definitely do your own research and decide what you are most comfortable with, but if you do decide to go for the breech-vaginal, it is AWESOME that your doc is willing to do that. Those doctors are few and far between!!!

PS, my older daughter was also 17 mos when my twins were born. If you ever need any venting or support, feel free to message me :)
