Underarms, I have to do every other day, the hair there just bugs me.
Legs, beneath the knee during the summer, once a week. My hair grows in patches, so I have to get some length before I can shave. In the winter time, I'll let it go 2-3 weeks
Legs, above the knee summer and winter, every 2-3 weeks. Doesn't grow as fast beneath the knee and the hair is lighter.

I can shave my legs standing in the shower but I am prone to missing huge spots, so I usually shave my legs in the bath, I can see better that way.

I wear bermuda shorts in the summer, I cannot wear pants, I hate being hot. Summer makes me such a whiner

Every day or two in the summer... Much less often in the winter. And it only takes me about a minute to do under my arms and my legs... Maybe this is a benefit of being short... My short legs are quick to shave

Every day or every other day. I hate stubble, but my hair is light on my legs. Even in winter I shave because I wear shorts to the gym.

I know this is strange but once I get leg stubble it really makes it difficult for me to sleep. It's like the stubble rubbing against the sheets is gross to me. So I have to shave every other day or my sleep will be interrupted.

Only when I have to - pool, wearing a dress for a fancy event. I have really white skin, and really dark thick leg hair (thanks Dad) that starts to stubble by the end of the day. It's not worth it. It'd rather feel the soft hairs than the stubble. DH doesn't care. I looked into laser, but it wasn't a guaranteed result, and was several thousand dollars, no dice. Tried waxing for a while, but very painful (tried several different salons) and again expensive - since my hair grows so quickly, I would have to go back at least every 3-4 weeks (not the usual 5-6), and at $120-200 a time, wasn't worth it. I have enough pain in my life, why add more just for a week of smooth legs and 2-3 weeks of stubble? Mostly, I wear pants or long skirts. I'll keep the thatch trimmed for DH, but that's about all of the usual maintenance. I do keep my arm pits shaved, again needs it every day though I usually only get a shower every other day. One year I just let my arm pit hair grow. It was nice, soft, thick, but not too long. But really not accepted around here, and I could never wear sleeveless or raise my arms without someone turning green (our society is really weird) so I gave in and started shaving that again. Once again, DH didn't care, but he didn't object when I started shaving my pits again either :)

Before kids= EVERY SINGLE DAY. Now, I do it about every other day. I don't like the feel of my prickly hairs rubbing my legs when I go to bed:)

I shave them every day all year round. I like smooth legs. :) It takes, maybe, 2 minutes for me to shave all my body parts in the shower every morning. Totally worth it. It makes me feel more attractive.

I'd say 2 minutes seems the max limit. A minute per leg I would say. Kim is right though. The less hair, the shorter amount of time. It takes me WAY longer to shampoo and condition my hair.

When I was younger, in the summer I shaved every day, in the winter every few days. Now, as I get older, I find the hair doesn't grow back as fast & is much finer and I can get by with once a week in summer without ever really having stubble.

During the winter, I'm lucky if I shave once every two weeks. Summer is more often, but usually not more than once a week. Strangely enough this summer I have shaved more than I ever had since I was in high school, every day or two..........but this year, I have a reason to have my legs look and feel nice! :shok:

Am I the only one that uses an electric razor, lol? I probably "really" shave my legs once every week or two, but will touch up with an electric razor between. I've got pretty dark hair, but if I use the electric, it's not as smooth as if I used a razor, but... it cuts the mustard if I'm going out and about and no one will be actually *touching* my legs! :p

I shave when I show my legs, which is not often. Sometimes I think you can braid the hairs.

Well not quite....but it is trending in that direction! Right now we are friends who are showing a mutual interest in something more. But it is most definately a reason to have my legs feel nice and smooth! Y'all will be among the first to know when this becomes more of relationship...K?

Funny thing is, it never seemed to matter to me before now, even when I was dating my xh...I rarely shaved my legs, mostly just for special occasions when we would be going out and my legs would be showing. That tell you something about this guy?????

    Happy now ladies????

Because when we are dating we think guys are observant and attentive. Then once I got married I realize he is pretty much oblivious. I usually make a point of pointing out that I shaved my legs, 'cause other wise he doesn't notice. :acute:

In the summer, pretty much daily. I am at the beach just about every day, so I really don't like to go without shaving. In the winter, I may go 2-3 days before it starts to bug me. Armpits, every day. And it really doesn't take long. A couple of extra minutes.

Molly, that's awesome!! Do we need a Mass. moms night to get you drunk and make you spill the beans a bit more?

I'm a freak, and don't have any hair on my legs!! - I shaved my legs once when I was 14 (and cut myself very badly in the process) and I only did that because everybody else was! It's a little odd but I just don't have much body hair - it's there but not much of it, it's nice though, my legs always feel smooth.. My friends and my daughter (who started on Nair last year) are extremely jealous but I'm just a freak [IMG]
