sibling gifts

We did small gifts after my DD1 and DD2 were born. When the twins came along I bought a couple movies I knew the kids would like for them to watch while I was in the hospital. This time I wasn't going to do anything but now I'm leaning back towards a small gift. It's completely unnecessary but DS still talks about how DD2 (a newborn at the time) bought him a Batman figure. lol It's just fun and cute. I'm also thinking of grabbing a couple movies. Avengers will be out by then and I'm thinking The Lorox too. I'm thinking something small like a short art project for the girls and some little figure for DS during the day while the baby sitter has them and when DH is home he can break out the dvds. Just curious who else does this?

 

When my dd was born (my second child), she "brought" my son a stuffed puppy from Build a Bear. He was soooo excited that his baby sister brought him a stuffed puppy! And right now I'm drawing a total blank on what the twins brought, but I know they brought something for my two older kids....I just really can't remember what! LOL

 

I like the build a bear idea. My twin girls would like those little mini animals.

 

Oh I also forgot, that my oldest son built a kitty cat at build a bear for my daughter when she was born. So they both got build a bear stuffies.

 

I really love that idea. DS is so excited that he's getting little brothers...finally. I'm thinking I might take just him to the Build-A-Bear and he can pick two stuffed bears/whatever to give to the twins when they're born. He would LOVE that!

 

We did 3 presents for my older daughter lol. One when I came home from the hospital, one when one twin came home and another when the other came home. So yes, we totally do this too

 

We did this, although we didn't say it was from their brother. We got the girls each a "Big sister" story book, and each a small magnetic doodle thingy that they drew on when they were visiting us in the hospital. Now, they live in the van when we go on car trips.
