If you remember how much did your babies weigh at your 20 week scan? I know u/s can go up/down but my boys were 1 lb and 15oz. It seems like a lot of 21 week babies. I'm hoping it means they won't be tiny when they're born. I need to look back and see how much the girls were measuring at 20 weeks.

i just had my 20 week ultrasound a few days ago and they were both 13 ounces each (which my doc said was perfect and no worries at all)...according to the charts ive seen, they are usually around 11-12 ounces at 20 weeks, so im kinda happy that they are over as opposed to underweight which would stress me out even more than i already am, LOL :p

That's exactly how I feel. I think it's a great sign my boys aren't going to be tiny. If my memory is correct my girls were around 13oz around 20 weeks. They were born at 37 weeks and were 5.15 and 6.9 so those are pretty good weights. I'm hoping the boys will be the same or bigger for 36-37 weeks. I just have this feeling they're going to be here around 35-36 weeks instead. I'm not buying anymore newborn sleepers.

Those sound like great weights to me and wouldnt be too far off either way if the us was off a little bit. Sounds like they are gaining wonderfully!! Glad you had a good us! :good:

Anyone out there remember what their babies weights were at 16 weeks? We just had our 16w u/s and the babies were 4 and 5 oz. When I went home to research, a baby at 16 weeks is the size of an avocado and is 3.5 oz. This is for one baby. So, are my babies 1.5-2 wks ahead?! They told us that was an average weight. But I really thought with twins we would't be bigger than a singleton at this point. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Ultrasound weights aren't exact. But, from my experience I would say they say on track with singletons. At least my girls did with my first twin pregnancy. They came at 37 weeks and were 5.15 and 6.9.
