Hi, I got a Snap-n-Go double for my twins. Its a stroller that you can set 2 car seats in. I couldn't manage 2 car seats either. Then i saw a lady using it with twins. The best part is it isn't super expensive ($60 used.) it's easy to load in the car. It's great for around town, not hiking on trails

Oh! Does it work for different brands of carseat? I have some called air ride or whatever(the NICU wouldn't clear us to leave without those stupid expensive things).
And I did have a question for those using prevacid, what dose were you giving and how many times a day?

I'm sorry, I don't remember the dosage. I think that's determined by weight anyway? We gave it to her twice a day- when she woke and again in the evening.

See I thought it was determined by weight we had the 15mg once a day. I always thought it should have been twice a day..
And I'm going to have to check that out then so I can get them out in their carseats! We took out a side by side double stroller someone had given us(its used). The thing looked great it reclined so they could be in it now and had these nice covers with a viewing window. But the thing is broken. Did that happen a lot to anyone else? People have you used items that were broken/dirty???

I'm not sure if my post came through, I'm new to this. I just wanted to say I use Chico car seats with that stroll. the seats just set into it so it's pretty universal

I'm pretty late to this thread but welcome!! My girls are about the same age as your twins (although mine are 10 weeks adjusted, 14 weeks old). I also find that it makes a HUGE difference to get out during the day. All the intense preparation is worth it and it helps to kill time!

I hope to venture out soon! These two have a cold right now that I'm desperate to keep from turning into pneumonia so I'm a little worried about taking them out just yet...but I did just order my snap n go today! DH and I thank you for that tip!

The double snap n go was a lifesaver for us too, I loved it! It's not all terrain, but as long as you stick to sidewalks and pavement it's excellent!! Has a huge big basket under it for diaper bag and anything else you need to take!

As for meds, zantac was useless for us too, it's extremely weight dependant, so as soon as your little ones start putting on a lb or two (which is constantly), zantac becomes ineffective. Prevacid isn't weight reliant. And, if I remember right, you can break the tablet in half and give them half in the morning, and half at night, it doesn't have to be done once a day. Double check with your dr about that though, but I know we gave Rylee hers twice a day.

We gave up on the syringe thing, because the little bits of pill would stick to the inside of the syringe, and then you can't get it all out, and all that extra water made Rylee spit up worse...etc. We ended up breaking it into tiny pieces, shoving it in her cheek and then using the syringe to squirt a little water in there to help it dissolve. I just held it with my finger up against her cheek until it dissolved away. It definitely worked better than the zantac.

That's what I am thinking of doing. I think I want to try prevacid again since we still have a script for it on file but last time we tried it we were on it for nine days and didn't notice that much of a difference. Should maybe I have given it longer? And I am eagerly awaiting my snap n go so I can get out of the house and take walks...
