This Week's Milestones Feb. 5-11

    This is our weekly milestone thread for the week of Feb. 5-11. Please reply to this thread with any milestone you are reaching this week. WTG Ladies, you are doing great. :Clap:

    I'm 30 weeks today! That feels like a big milestone, getting into the 30s. Just 8 to 9 weeks left at most. Time to set up the nursery :)

    Congrats on making it to this milestone! You may also want to consider setting up a makeshift nursery in you living room or den. My babies have been home for a week and a half and haven't slept their nursery yet. We find it easier to have one home base which is our living room. With their schedules being 24 hour, it's just easier to keep them in one place instead of up and down for night and day. Apparently, this is very common so just wanted to pass it along :)

    Congrats on hitting 30 weeks, Jen! That felt like a big milestone for me too! :)

    I will be 33 weeks on Saturday.

    Congrats on having twins home, hitting 30 weeks, and hitting 33 weeks, ladies!! I'm at 21 weeks, and look forward to each of your milestones. :lol:

    Amy - that sounds like good advice, thanks. Did you put an actual crib in your living room/den or just bassinets or something else? We will get a Pack-n-Play, a swing, and bouncy chairs, but we were thinking of only starting out with one crib in the nursery.

    Jen, we set up a pack-n-play in the living room and that is all they have slept in. I know you are not supposed to treat it like a crib but they are never alone and seem to be managing just fine. The beautiful cribs in the nursery are still waiting to be used.:). We also use a bouncy chair, one that lies more flat, not upright, for settling a fussy baby. Our doula showed us that. You strap them in wrapped in their swaddle and the light bouncing works it's magical charms!

    36.4 days today! Doctor said that I'm 2 cm dilated and 75% effaced....I think they might be coming soon? I haven't had any braxton hicks or contractions, really hoping that I know when it's happening!

    Congrats everyone on making it so far. I remember 32 weeks being my goal at one point.
