Anybody find a tandem double stroller they like that is height adjustable or appropriate for short moms? I am 5 feet tall, and had really liked what I saw with the Kolcraft Contours Tandem II but having been on bedrest throughout this entire pregnancy, I cant test it out to see if its difficult for someone my size to push...suggestions?

I had a Graco Duoglider as well as the Kolcraft Contours Tandem II. Either works well for my 5'2" height.

As much as I disliked the Duoglider (it was squeaky, long, and not always easy to steer) and prefer the Tandem, I have to caution you against the Tandem if you'll be using it alone very often. The removable seats are fun for the girls but they are pain in the rear to put on and off alone when you're on the go.

If I could do it again I'd get a snap-n-go until they outgrow the infant carriers and then look at some of the more compact side-by-sides.

I agree with the snap n go. I had a duoglidder, I hated it. I used it alone, like ECUBitzy pointed out, it is long and hard to steer. My boys were born in Dec and I live in Canada and I found with the ice and snow, it would slide off the sidewalk. I sold mine and bought a snap n go and a double jogger.

I never had that one or one with adjustable handles. I've found that most strollers are better suited for me at 5'1" than for anyone taller. I loved the snap n go stroller for while they were in the carriers it was so light and easy to use. After that I had a DuoGlider that I hated. I used it quite a while though and even after I bought my SBS occasionally when the SBS wasn't going to fit well somewhere (Kohls). I finally got the Combi side-by-side and loved it. I still use it every once in awhile. Good luck!

I totally agree! Being on the opposite side of the spectrum I never found one that I wasn't kicking or had to bend over to reach the handles.

I thought I was kicking mine due to clumsiness!

We used the double snap n go for for the first 8 months- it's an awesome stroller. I never wanted to have to take two sleeping tiny babies out of their carseats to run in somewhere. :)

I am taller also. I did find a jeep sbs that had adjustable handles. It worked really well.

I had the duoglider originally. I loved it.
