7 wk u/s and we're having...

    Just one! There were two white "blobs" and I got pretty nervous. The tech said one was the yolk sac! Whew! The heartbeat was going strong at 140 bpm...and the baby measures 6 wks 6 days, and I'm 7 wks exactly, so I'm guessing they'll leave my due date of July 17 set. I see my OB on Friday. I took my twins, and I hyped up seeing our tiny baby on the TV screen so much, I think they were disappointed when the "gerber" baby didn't appear on the screen. Luckily I brought snacks for them to stay occupied with.

    Awesome! I was so excited when she told me one baby! Wishing you an uneventful and long pregnancy! I'm just a little ahead of you with a due date of June 28th!

    I remember that moment of relief when I found I was only having one, and now that he's here, it's sooo much easier!!

    Congrats on a healthy bean!

    I remember feeling the tiniest bit disappointed when I found out there was only one baby, but Kate is right... one baby at a time is so much easier than two! I have my ultrasound tomorrow and I may have a mental breakdown if there are more than one in there ;-) Congratulations, and enjoy the ride!!!

    Haha! I'm a tiny bit disappointed too, but mostly relieved it's just one! I've always thought that 1 must be easy, so we're ready to try that this time! :)
