Hi All- I just wanted to get people's opinions on flying with twins at 20 weeks. I am going to Canada for work. Its a short flight only 1 hour. The doctor said its fine, but of course I am still nervous. Do you think it's ok for me to fly. I am leaving Wednesday and will be back on Thursday. Any thoughts would be great :)
    Thanks!! Kristen

Flying is fine. Where are you going in Canada? It's COLD here now, make sure you pack your winter stuff you'll need it!

I flew from Japan to Michigan a bit earlier in my pregnancy(12 wks). I'd think an hour flight at twenty weeks would be fine.

I live about 30 mins from Toronto. They are calling for Snow tonight and tomorrow. I had to dig out winter coats for my kids this morning!

As long as you're not having any problems in your pregnancy, you should be fine. Bring tons of snacks in case you get stuck on the plane (this actually happened to me at 22 weeks), drink lots of water, and remember to take breaks during your meeting - get up and stretch, walk around, whatever your body needs.

I was supposed to fly for work around the 20 week mark, and my peri said it was fine. He'd prefer I not fly somewhere where there was not a high risk/high level NICU nearby. But otherwise, flying was okay. I ended up being put on bedrest at 16 weeks, so that trip did not happen though. :(

I did fly at 6 and 9 weeks. I took a lot of snacks and water.
