DWTS -Dancing with the Stars Season 13

Hope is one of the stars that annoys me every season. If you are going to commit to doing something like DWTS, make sure you have time to do it. Don't have a daily schedule with your soccer team/soap opera/music tour and get surprised that 2 hours in the dance studio a day isn't going to cut it. I think she needs to be the next to go skill wise.

I do understand why Max blew up at the judges, he just had bad timing on it. I don't think the judges always think before they speak (especially Bruno). My jaw dropped when he called Chaz a penguin. There isn't a season when the male stars do the majority of their dances with heal leads and they are only occasionally called on it. For them to nitpick Hope on that because they chose to go without heels was, well, nitpicky. Now the fact she really can't dance is totally besides the point.

 

Um yeah, he kind of is! He keeps me watching anyway.

Chaz was so hurt by the judges's comments and rightly so. Critiquing his dancing, yes. Critiquing his physique,no. It was his time to go home though. If I had to send someone home at this point, I'd probably choose Hope (can't Maks stay?).

 

ITA. I think Bruno was saying it's not your fault, you're overweight and it's difficult to master the moves in that position. But it was insulting.

If Hope goes Maks will stay around and dance with other troupe people or professionals. Which is better, anyway- right now it looks like he's doing his darndest and she's sort of there... :unsure: I usually ADORE the rumba, but she just sort of danced/conveyed emotion. It wasn't very good.

 

I'm glad Dave and Kym are gone!! ardon: I didn't like seeing him dance.

 

I just have never liked David Arquette. But I think Nancy should have gone home before David.

 

So did everyone agree with the results? Did the mirror ball trophy go to the right couple????


Come on ladies and gents lets dish. I do have to say this about GMA this morning and the 'wrap party'....Carson ROCKS! I think they may have found a new 'mini host' for DWTS!!!

 

As sick as I am of seeing him win, I think Ricki and Derek should have won. They were the consistently better pair. JR should have been second with Rob being third. Rob improved leaps and bounds throughout the season, but even at the end I do not think he was in league with the other two. JR had good dances and not so good dances. I feel bad that he got injured last week and I am sure that still played a part in training for the finals. I was not impressed with their free style though. Derek is a dancing machine. He has consistently been able to produce winner after winner (or at least finalist) and I think it has a lot to do with his ability to choreograph to his stars strengths and knows when he can push them to the next level.

 

I agree with Jenn... Ricki should have won!! I liked Rob more then JR though... so I would have wanted them to be 2nd and JR third.

 

I missed it but based on the rest of the season Ricki was the best dancer, then JR and Rob was last in my book.

Ricki looks so good!

 

In my honest opinion, Rob should have won. He came the farthest from where he started. Ricki was very good (although not as good as the other two this week) and JR was good too but not 100% on top of his game the last two weeks. Rob, otoh, was on fire! I loved, loved, loved his free style dance! A testament to how good of a teacher Cheryl is and how good of a pupil Rob is!

Still, I am happy for JR and especially Karina.

Carson Kressley was a riot last night. Loved that dance!!

 

I was glad to see Karina win her first mirror ball. Both the other two have multiple of them. I predict we will see Carson in a fashion mini host position for future seasons.
