    Hello! I just joined! I am a SAHM and together with my husband we have 3 boys ages 6, 4 and 1! We recently found out that I am 9 weeks pregnant with twins!!! We are still in shock! The joke of all of this is that my 6 y/o has been telling us for the last year "mommy you're going to have 2 babies and they are going to be girls"! I guess he knew something I didn't! It will be quite scary if it really is 2 girls! So twins do not run in either side of the families and there were no fertility treatments involved either. Now my oldest son had a twin that vanished but that pregnancy started out very unknown! I didn't get confirmation of pregnancy til almost 13 weeks! No blood, urine results would show and no sono! So by the time it was confirmed the sono reported one missed:( SO seeing these two little gummy bears this time brings up such a mixture of emotions!! I am very nervous, scare and excited all rolled up in one! Then I say wow I will be a mom to 5 kids under 6........ouch!

    Congrats! When I had our twins, we had 5 kids 5 and under. Then when the twins were 4.5 months old I got pregnant again with their sister. Making 6 kids, 6.5 years and under. LOL. Very doable with the right attitude and planning. There will be hard days and there will be amazing days. You are truly blessed! I can't wait to hear if they are two little girls.

    Oh WOW!!!! Ok you had me beat! I see hope...lol And you are still going!!! You are inspiring:) I have faith that it's doable I just don't have any experience with twins! So I'm ready for the challenge! Thank you! I know I can't wait either!!!

    I was the same, no history of twins in the family and no fertility issues, the girls were a SHOCK!
    My dr.says that it was my age, the older you are the slower your eggs release and the chance of more than one egg being fertilized is greater.
    So here we are, the girls will be FOUR at the end of December.
    I just wanted to say hello and welcome you, this is a great community and really it was my life line during my pregnancy and now it just feels like home.
    Feel good and remember to take care of y.o.u of course while being pregnant with twins and taking care of THREE toddlers.

    Thank you Leslie! Yep that's the same thing here being 36 now. What's funny though is I remember when I was little I used to always say I'm gonna have twins one day and even though they don't run in the family I'd say well they have to start somewhere! Now if only I could predict the lotto numbers!!! Lol yes this has been a great source of information for me on this site! Thanks again!
