August Daily Activity Thread

    I did the elliptical and treadmill again, the stairmasters were all taken up again! 60 minutes total. Tomorrow I am taking the day off, as I will most likely be wrestling two cats into carriers and taking them to vet. It will not be fun :laughing:

    10min crosstrainer, 20min weights, then 25mins treadmill. Then they closed for the night. Hopefully I can get in earlier tomorrow night :)

    i rode my bike for about 15 minutes, to and from my one hour zumba class.

    yesterday I did 10 minutes walking around the track, 25 minutes weights, 30 minutes elliptical

    Today I did....

    5 sets of 30 inner thigh
    5 sets of 30 outer thigh
    100 crunches
    50 side crunches each side
    15 mins stairmaster
    30 min strickly strengh class

    Today, 20 min. total body sculpting with Gilad, then another 20 min just ab workout.

    Ok, I slept about 5 hours in 3 segments...one of my boys has a stuffy nose and crying wakes the other...oh well...

    I ran 20 minutes this morning then 10 min ab crunches....
    Last night I did 2 minutes jumprope...boy was that a killer!

    5 miles/50 mins on the elliptical followed by 40 mins of weights machines at the gym.

    Okay ladies not sure if I will be in this forum(depending on what the dr says) I took a pg test this morning and it was positive :woah: I'm in shock right now but if I'm still allowed I want to continue exercising I just cant diet:( I'm so scared 3ys ago when my twins were 5 months old I got pg again and had a miscarriage :cry: I dont want to go through that again so at this point I cant be happy about this :( I'm telling you all beacuse I dont want to tell anyone we know yet...I just dont know what to tell people why I'm not dieting or exercising anymore, plus the money I have spent at the gym and jenny craig flew out the window!

    r and m mama--congrats!! both jenny and the gym should be able to suspend your memberships. you might want to keep the gym, though, if there are a lot of mellow things to do there (i'm a big believer in only doing yoga, swimming and walking while pg!).

    btw, as a miscarriage survivor (who was truly devastated by that event) i can tell you that i hope you will try to feel a little better about it. it's hard and scary to be pg after you've lost one BUT i came to realize that living in fear didn't make me feel any better. my attitude was that i'd be happy until someone gave me a reason to be sad. and, i felt a lot better that way (i tried getting pg for many years so i went through rollercoaster all the time, though i only had one actual pregnancy after my mc). anyways, i know it's hard not to be fearful, but try to enjoy the pregnancy as much as you can. you might as well!

    Congrats R&RMAMA! I lost 25kg and was really fit for the first time in my life three and a half years ago. Then I got pregnant with my DS. Three beautiful smily faces later I am back to lose weight again. I would gladly put the weight back on to have these gorgeous wee guys. But I know EXACTLY how your feeling at this moment. All the effort feels wasted...but it's not. Your fighting fit for this pregnancy. Good luck. Meantime I am sitting on my butt feeling sorry for myself because I caught the flu while in hospital with the little guy. Hoping to be able to drag myself out the door tomorrow!

    Congrats R&RMama! Wishing you all the best with your pregnancy! I know Aimee T posted in this forum when she was pregnant with her little guy, she did light exercise and monitored her pregnancy weight gain. You can always still participate in here if you wish. :hug:

    Today, I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, 12 minutes on the stair master and 12 minutes on the bike.

    Thanks ladies, I think all day yesterday I was in shock and very tired I guess I will be 5 weeks Sunday so still along way to go....I still plan on doing light exercising, maybe I will start back on Monday but for now I just want to rest :lazy: I will still drop in as long as I am still exercising. I feel like I will be holding my breath for the next couple of months....Keep it up ladies :good:

    yesterday i ended up at the gym instead of on my bike. did 30 mins of weights machines and 30 mins on the elliptical. today i did an hour on the elliptical. i am sick of it, lol!

    Had a half hour training session today with a personal trainer. I think he thought I asked for a torture session from hell. My abs and butt HURT. Still it got me motivated to keep focussed :)

    Yesterday I did Gilad in the morning with extra ab crunches.
    Today I ran 25 minutes then another 15 minutes ab workout.

    i'm taking today off, but i went to boot camp for an hour yesterday. woo hoo--i made it to my goal for like the 10th week in a row of exercising at least 5 hours/week.

    I did a 20 minute upper body circuit (I found the workouts in the July 2011 Prevention magazine)
    (4 rounds)16 reps + 8 reps with leg lifted of arm arcs
    (4 rounds) 16 reps + 8 reps with leg lifted of row w/ rear fly
    (4 rounds) 30 seconds of jumping jacks
    45 minutes of Leslie Sansome 3 mile walk on demand

    I had a rough week last week so I didn't do a whole lot. Yesterday I went to the gym and did a lot and today I just walked around the track and did weights. I want to keep losing!

    Yesterday, I did 2 rounds of lower body circuit : side side squats (24 reps each round) and curtsy lunges (24 reps also) and 2 minutes of split jump power drills & 50 minutes on the elliptical

    Today is the abs circuit and I did 4 rounds, 24 reps each of knee life with a twist, legs up crunches, side plank with hip lift and 2 minutes of knee lift with hop power drill
    I plan on going to the gym when DH gets home and doing a stairmaster/bike/elliptical combo for 50 minutes.

    I went running for a short while tonight and did ab workout...40 minutes altogether.

    You guys are awesome. I have done not much and am feeling really stink about it. I'm hoping DH can come home early tomorrow so I can get to the gym. For now I am planning to do yoga at home with my DVD.

    wtg, ladies! a great week!

    i forgot to check in but on tuesay i went to an hour zumba class, on wed i did an hour on the elliptical and a half hour of weights machines, and yesterday i rode my bike for an hour.

    Yesterday, I took it easy because I've been in pain from the circuit training I've been doing...so I did 20 minutes of yoga and took a 30 minute walk with the family around the neighborhood.
    Today, I did 20 minutes of circuit twist lunges (2 reps of 24 each leg), lunges (2 reps of 24 each leg), chest flies-4 reps of 24 and football jog for 2 minutes.
    I also did 45 minutes-3 mile walk on demand.

    Friday I ran 20 minutes then did shoulder, back, ab workout at home. I took yesterday off. Today I went running again, then did leg, butt and ab workout.

    yesterday i did 30-40 mins of weights machines and then ran a mile on the elliptical. today i rode my bike for 50 mins (all i had time for). i'm came a few minutes short of my weekly goal of 5 hours of excercies. woo hoo!

    Saturday, I did 65 minutes on the elliptical
    Sunday-60 minutes on the elliptical
    Today-I did 25 minutes of the 10lb slim down total body blast on demand and will do a kickbox workout later.
