Mothers guilt

As we get closer to one I'm thinking back and mothers guilt kicks in. I haven't taken hardly any video of the girls. I've taken pictures but definitely not as many as the other kids. This year has been crazy busy but I still feel bad.

 

I'm feeling it too! While I have TONS of pictures of Hannah...she hadn't been videotaped from January to her birthday..so almost 6 months! Whereas with the boys I think I tried to video them at least once a month their first year!!

((HUGS)) try not to be hard on yourself, you have more kids than I do so I can only imagine how hectic it gets!!

 

Umm....I videotaped the boys almost every single month right around the 18th. Poor Annabella has third child syndrome and has rarely been videotaped. And I feel awful. And we actually feel awful because we really haven't videotaped much in a long time. I actually took it out last night while they were dancing around and videotaped them. And I got some good stuff!

So-you can't change the past-but you can work on the future and try to make an effort to videotape a little bit more. That's what I'm going to do! Life does get crazy busy!

 

That was what I was thinking. It's not completely my fault because the video camera acts up. I video taped Christmas this year and the cmaera acted up and erased the entire thing!!!! I was so sad. Luckily I still got plenty of pictures. It also erased some video of the girls. So now when I tape I do it for a half hour non-stop and then finalize the video and am done. We have the small dvd recorder type. So it's a pain and I don't get the best shots. I try to get all five kids in which isn't a problem since the three bigger kids all play together and then I get the babies. I'm hoping to buy a new camera but it's definately not on the top of our list.

 

Get yourself a iPhone/smart fone. It's way more convinience to take pic/clip anytime anywhere. I have Sony cam. But I always take their pics/clips on my ifone. I never missed any moment when I am there with them. But of course I miss ton when I am at work

 

I have an iPhone so I can take video and pictures with that. My digital camera also has video also. I upload my photos from my phone onto Shutterfly through their app. Now i just gotta figure how to get the videos on my computer. I'm going to have my dad show me when he's in town in a couple weeks.
