back in January we got the kids full sized beds - now they want to have "sleepovers" in each others beds all the time - the scary part is they sleep better and later in the morning than before!!! Would you let this practice go on or should I curtail it? Keep in mind they are b/g - I know there isn't anything "going on" but do you think this is a bad thing?

Leave it be. They're having fun, they're comfortable, I say let them be.

I think it's fine. Mine like to sleep next to each other as well ... they made me take the bunk beds down to put the beds side by side. I know mine are both boys but even if they were b/g I'd let them sleep together if that's what they preferred.

Mine have/will sleep together. Mine will sleep on each other's floor in sleeping bags or trundle bed depending on the room. Mine even used to take their comforters off their beds and make "nests" and sleep in their nests. As long as they're sleeping, I find it hard to argue too much.

Ever since mine got their new twin beds they have been sleeping together. Every once in a while I'll have to referee the constant chattering, but they rarely come and get into the bed with me now that they are sleeping together...which is a plus for me since I hate getting kicked at night :D

Mine often end up in the same bed. I say let them do it, especially if it helps them sleep better!!

I say let it go too. Mine have been asking to sleep together lately too. Must be a novelty to them.

If mine slept good together I would be sooooo good with it! Every night here is a sh*t show so if they wanted to seep upside down I would let them! as long as they would go to sleep! They ask to sleep together, I say yes, they get out of control. I give them a warning, they get even more out of control and back in their own beds they go. So the book Go the F*uck to Sleep is one that I totally appreciate!

Go with it. A few months ago, ours decided that they wanted to sleep together in the full-size guest bed. They claim it's because the mattress is more comfortable, but I suspect it's because they want to be next to each other. We're going to unbunk their beds so they will at least get back into their own room.

I'm in the "Go the F*ck to Sleep" club right now too -- if mine wanted to sleep together and they actually slept better that way, I would let them in a heartbeat. As it is, they seem to annoy each other even being in twin beds, and I wish we could split them up!
