Where did you buy pillows for your kiddos? I have small ones with cute, removable covers that my mom made, but unfortuantely, I washed one of the pillows this weekend and ruined it :fool:

Do most of you just use regular pillows with a "low loft?" TIA!

actually I fold up a small blanket and stick under their heads... it's rather thin and perfect. I did make a little flap that I can fold it into, but you could probably just fold a blanket too... we had tons of baby blankets so this is working for now.

We were using regular pillows until they started on the pillow pets train. And continued on that train for four months. :headbang: I finally broke down and got them one each and that's what they sleep with now.

Ours sleep on pillow pets also. MIL bought them for Christmas last year, before the big craze hit, lol. But they love sleeping on them.

They use plain old cheap pillows from Walmart. They did get pillow pets for christmas but could care less about them.

We have been using regular pillows since they moved out of their crib around age 2.

My two have Pillowpets too. I find that if they actually sleep on them, when I go in to check them their little heads are just wet with sweat. It is weird. I always go in before I go to bed & switch them to their normal pillows.

I have the most adorable pet headed blankets too... my dd loves to wrap up in it... BUT like you said she sweats in it... so I try to remove it after she's fallen asleep too... probably just the polyester versus natural fibers.

We had the small ikea pillows for a while but switched to regular ones when we switched to twin beds before they turned 3. I just got some on amazon. They have pillow pets but don't really sleep on them.

I just gave them old pillows of mine that were already pretty flattened from use. Now one of them uses that and the other uses his Pillow Pet.

Regular flat pillows from walmart, the cheapie ones. When I notice them sleeping everywhere BUT the pillows, I know it's time to buy new ones!

I have one that sleeps with a pillow pet and the other that sleeps with a regular pillow. I've never noticed the sweat thing but it makes sense for us since she's always cold! It's probably what's been helping keep her warm. :)

They have both the cheapie pillows from Walmart and a pillow pet on there bed. They use any and/or all of them. I do notice the pillow pets make them sweat too.

When the kids first started using pillows, we started with the small ones and I found them at Joanne's. My mom made a couple of small pillow cases for them and they worked great. We have since moved to regular pillows (probably around 3 years old).

We used to buy the travel pillows from walmart and then old pillows from my bed and then foam pillows. They now sleep on pillow pets which I've washed with no problem

Mine sleep on down pillows, the same as I use. We got a 2 pack of them at Costco and they are really nice.

Eh, my kids are sweaty sleepers with or without the pillow pets. I really want to get them on regular mattresses and not the plasticy crib mattresses but I'm afraid about the pee in the bed issue.

My kids are on regular mattresses with waterproof covers, but the covers don't feel like plastic, they just feel like fabric. They seem to work great & no sweating!
