Is anyone taking the OTC Nature's Made Pre-natal vitamins? I've read they really don't have the aftertaste burps. Is that true? Need some advice on pre-natals before I sink some money into them.

I had to buy the. Nature Made gummy pre natal vita and the do not have the aftertaste. At the time, our walmart was out of the others. This time, walmart was out of the nature made vita all together so I got the 1 a day which make me burp up a fishy taste all day YUK plus they make my stomach hurt. But I paid $ 15 for them and hate to waste them!!!!!

Did I miss something!!! Are you pregnant or TTC!!

Let's just say it's been a surprising week and I will have firmer news for everyone June 9th.

Do the nature's made gummies have the DHA?

Yes, but they do not have iron. You take 2 gummies. A day. With the 1 a day vitamins, there are 2 that you take - the first bottle hasa caplet with the iron, calcium etc.... And then the second has a soft gel caplet with the DHA - which is the fishy part.

I just looked at the one's I've been taking and they don't have DHA in them.. whoops. I get mine by prescription so I don't have to pay for them.

Were your doctors ok with OTC? I talked with the pharmacist at the store and she said I need 800mg of Folate, not 400 like in every other pill. She said only the prescription ones have 800 mg. i need an all inclusive everything in there pill because there is no way jose that I am taking 2 pills or remembering to take 2 pills or remembering that i took 2 pills.

The one doc I went to was okay with me taking OTC ones, but my primary care doctor gave me an RX since it's free. Vitamins aren't the cheapest so I went with free! :p

yeah, free would be nice. My co-pay would be $10 for a 1 month supply which is more than the Costco price for the naturemade. I will ask on Monday if the nature made are good enough and most likely get those.

I take the Nature Made Soft Gels with DHA in them. :good: They are big but easy to swallow and no after taste. I asked my doctor and he was okay with me taking them... I don't have Rx coverage so it comes out cheaper this way. Plus I got lucky :spiteful: and they were on sale buy one get one free and I made sure I stocked up.
