Where to start when it comes to PT?

I know I need to get started or at least get started with some sort of game plan. Can anyone point me to some resources? What to look for as far as readiness to PT? Different approaches pro/cons? Our schedule is hectic so it needs to be something that can be done at gma’s, daycare and at home consistently. My husband and I both work FT so I am just not seeing how we are going to tackle this next milestone but I am sure once I get a bit more educated I will find a way.

As far as current status – we have potty chairs – they like to sit on them for about 3.2 seconds. Gavin will not tell us when he needs to go or has gone at all. Warren will tell us when he has gone #2 most of the time. And we talk about potty, big boys and they are always following us to the bath room. Neither of them have actually ever gone potty in the potty chair.

I'm a firm believer that the closer to 3y they are the faster it goes. Is there a 3 day weekend in the next 3-4 months? I would take that weekend and starting the first day do the 3 day potty training (you can find the book online and at the library) and go from there. That way when you give them to gma or the daycare then you have a method in place and they have had 3 days to adjust. And you'll also know if they are ready, if they aren't then you can try again in another month.

We used the potty seats that go on our toilet not potty chairs and that was nice because they were easily transported yet they got used to the big potty.
