Noah and Sophie will be 15 months on monday!!! We are just in the process of going through their toys and looking at what they have outgrown and what they need next.

Just wanted to hear what others have found their kids LOVE and not-so-much toys!!!

So far they still play with their learning table a bit, they got a play kitchen from my friend and they LOVE that. We have a ride on car, they love all books (ripping mostly LOL).... and they love the playground, so I am looking to buy a slide/playstation for them soon. We also found some cool tricycles that adapt for babies to toddlers that we are thinking about. All they want to do is run around :)))

    Thanks!!

We are in the same boat! Mine are 15 months today and I am trying to figure out what types of toys they should be playing now. I'm anxious for any suggestions, too!

We have several ride on toys, cozy coupes, a little tikes slide, little rail road track with train, see saw, books, toy shopping cart. Mine also love empty diaper boxes. WE have a toy kitchen but no where to put it yet and I know they would love love love that! We have been playing with teh same things since about 15 months.

Thomas the Train is also a hit (the age appropriate version).

Friends of ours got us this weird thing called Bilibo. It's a plastic dome-looking thing that helps develop imaginative play. My girls absolutely love it. They use it as a drum, a seat, a bowl for toys.We even spin them around in it. It's awesome.

We'll be 15 months on Saturday and I've been trying to build up my supply of outside toys for the spring/summer. Dannik was in daycare when he was this age as I was working so I don't have much for this age group now that I'm home full time.

Since we've been stuck inside this winter we've been doing a TON of dress-up lately...they LOVE it. I've been looking for second hand costumes at consignment sales and have started a good collection. They also really like blocks right now (the big easy to put together ones from Fisher Price). They are also getting into the Little People stuff.

We have a wagon for outside and just took them for their first walk this weekend and it was a big hit. I also have a Step 2 sand/water table that has been Dannik's favorite toy for the last 2 summers so that was a great investment. I have a feeling the girls might eat more sand than they play with this summer but they'll get the hang of it :).

My two love their bilibos still.

We tried to go sledding in them this year but the snow was too soft. So that didn't work. :D

Our boys really like their ride-on toys now that they can move around themselves, and they also can push each other. They also love blocks and the stack and nest cups - before they would just knock them down, but now they are starting to actually stack them, too. Another big hit here is balls - we have two tennis balls, but they are more like the size of a soccer ball, which they love to throw and chase after each other with. We also have a Handy Manny tent and a tunnel - they collapse for easy storage behind the couch, and we get them out about once a week or so. They continue to love books, and anything they can open and close and take stuff in and out of. The last few days, they have been putting those rings you connect toys with in and out of empty plastic wipes boxes - they think that is great!

Ride ons, tents, any type of vehicle you can imagine, and dolls. That is what mine are loving right now.

This week my kids have been living inside our peapod (it's a sleep tent I got for my oldest and barely ever used). They love playing with push toys outside. Stand up outdoor sand box has been a big hit. We also have an indoor climbing toy with a little slide that they like, although it is a little big - I can't wait for them to outgrow it!

Our girls are almost 20 months now, but for the past several months they have loved some of the following:

    play tent with tunnel attached
Ball pit (we blew up their summer pool and bought some balls for it)
    Indoor slide
    Balls of ANY kind
    cars
    little people sets
    coloring, stickers, playdoh
blocks- we have those cardboard ones that are great for stacking and making go "boom!"
    books, books, books
    bubbles
starting to get into wooden puzzles
    musical instruments

Have fun!! This is such a fun age, when they start to explore and discover so many new things! :)

By 18 months mine were doing a lot of pretend play so the favorite toys around the 15-18 month period were dolls, cars, little people, balls, their ride on toys. At 21 months they still love all those things and also love their mega blocks, their wooden alphabet blocks, simple puzzles and shape sorter toys. Some of the "younger" toys they still love too. They still play with their busy ball popper on a daily basis!

    Stuffies and baby dolls
    Toy strollers
    wood puzzles
board books (especially ones with animals)
    SLIDES!!!! biggest fun ever:)
they are just getting into the play kitchen now
    ride 'ems
shape sorters (they can actually do the more difficult ones now)
    big bouncy balls
we are just starting with crayons now too

This seems to work with this thread, so I'll just stick it here. Does anyone know a good place to buy super soft stuffed animals with stitched eyes and nose?

We have jelly cat loveys and pigs from Kohls cares. I am not 100% about the eyes but the rest of them are stitched.

TY makes some cute stuffies with stitched eyes. We have this spotted puppy in blue and pink for my older kids, and another green puppy that lays down for my oldest son. We also have laying spotted puppies for the twins that we found at either Belk's or Kohl's or JcPenney, something like that. Also, in the baby section at walmart, they have super soft stuffed mickey, minnie, dalmation, pooh bear...etc animals, all with stitched eyes. The twins each have a minnie and mickey.
