I can't tell anymore how the babies are laying, they were both transverse last week but this week I just can't tell. The worst part is I now don't know if B is transverse or breech (she goes breech sometimes) which means I can't tell if I'm feeling her move or not! Last night I had to drink juice to get them moving because I was worried and I felt something all the way up top and on the right. That was definitely B but it was the only time I felt her move that I knew for sure it was her.

Do you think if I ask they will do an NST for me? I plan on arriving early to my appointment so there's time, they haven't done one yet and I'm 34 weeks.

I realize that at this point in a healthy pregnancy, with two babies on a good growth pattern and with their own blood supplies that were doing well I shouldn't worry so much. However, at 35-ish weeks (two weeks before the scheduled c-section) my mother lost my brother to fetal demise with no indications as to why. I'm 10 years younger than she was and not under the stress she was, but it's always on my mind and it really freaks me out.

Maybe I should just try to calm down and stop worrying...

If you mention that you havent been able to feel her move, they shouldnt have any problems doing an NST. Good luck!

It's tough not to worry, but more then likely everything is perfect!!!
There is no reason not to ask for an NST because of lack of movement (that you can feel anyway).
I say give them a call and at least let them know...
Keep us posted, I am interested in the babies positions now...fingers crossed for both transverse!!

If you haven't felt them move they'll do an u/s at least for you. Let us know how the appointment goes. :)

If I were in your situation I would just ask the nurse/OB....that is what they are there for. When I was pregnant with the girls the staff at the hospital were so good about asking any questions I had. Even over the phone. They get asked these things all the time & know how nervous you are. It is in our nature to worry so better if it puts you at ease xx

If I were you, I'd march myself into the office now and ask for an ultrasound and/or NST. But then again, due to my history, I think it's normal that I'd do that. If you didn't feel her move, call the office. When's your next appointment?

Well, the few hours before the appointment the babies were both going crazy. I guess it was just my stress and dehydration last night?

Babies are probably breech/transverse again, if the transverse one doesn't move the breech one can't get even into a breech delivery position. We scheduled the c-section for 2:15 on April 14th. I'm 1cm dilated and she isn't sure I'll make it that long. Actually, she doesn't think I'll make it that long at all... but I'm going to try!

I did find out that they do strap down your arms during the surgery and that if I deliver before 36 weeks they will automatically take the babies to the NICU for 24 hours of observation. However, they won't let me go for 12 hours after surgery (to make sure I don't have an infection or any other complications) so I'll have to pump right away to get the milk going. I can breastfeed them in the NICU once I can join them there.
