I think my twins scare people

My oldest had a birthday party tonight so I took Jacob to a nearby Costco to do some shopping. My husband kept Henry (Henry slept late at nap time so Jacob got to go with us). Everyone was smiling at Jacob and talking to him while he walked around Costco (he was holding up traffic by checking everything out). While we were gone, my husband took Henry to the local grocery store and he told me when I got home that Henry was chatted up by quite a few grandmothers. Whenever we take the two of them out, we get stares, and the usual twin comments of "bless you", "hands full" etc. We had to laugh that so many people are afraid of twins but when you take them out one at a time, they love them.

 

Except for me stalking you in Costco.

awwwwwe. it is nice to see that they are loved as "singletons"... I think that the whole twin thing is more of a gawking thing sometimes, and people don't know what to say.

No, I'm pretty sure that you were in front of me one day in line with your boys and I said something to you about my two being out in the car because they were being jerks. That was before we met. But I totally got in your line because I was stalking you. I think the boys were about 10 months at the time.
