Just finished watching the episode. Silly that they voted off Stephanie instead of Sirita. I just don't see that tribe winning any more.

Good. Any tribe that intentionally throws a competition deserves to be picked off one by one.

While I agree that they were very stupid and arrogant to throw a challenge, Rob's tribe annoys me a lot, too. There are so many people coasting on adoring Rob that they just aren't very smart. The lazy girls (I'm on Phillip's side on this one... which shocks me!) don't even know that there are clues for a hidden immunity idol. They are so annoying!

I am having a problem getting into this one. I just haven't found anyone i like (except Boston Rob) and he can't carry the show himself. I'm bored with this season.

I agree thw whole part of the crispy rice is Robs was annoying. It is like he is the Godfather or their Pimp and they have to do everything for him. I am actually hoping Matt (or Fabio Jr) comes back and wins it all.

All I can say is poor Matty. Rob made a very wise decision. It is better for him to have a strong, loyal six, then a wishy-washy seven. Rob also cracked me up with the whole tribe naming thing.

I think I am the only one crazy annoyed by Rob. I really just don't like him.

Even though Matt is not too bright I would love to see him come back and win the whole thing.

    I love Rob (what can I say .. I'm from Boston !!)
I DID feel bad for Matty though .. but he's too wishy washy and Rob did the right thing.
Plus Ralphs idol got flushed .. :rotflmbo:

I'm loving it. Can't wait to see whats next. :)

Phillip's craziness is saving this season from a huge dose of obvious-ness. Rob's complete control (cult like as it was described tonight) is both genius and boring. And it seems pretty clear to me that the final six will be Rob's current pack (unless one of the other two wins the immunity challenges). Well I guess there will be seven left counting the person remaining from Redemption Island.

Once it's the final six however, this season could get interesting. Rob is in charge now but where will he be at the end? He can't hold on to his idol forever too. Call me crazy but I think the Three Degrees as Phillip coined the three suntanners might be holding back their games long enough to actually blind-side Rob in the final weeks. At the very least, it might be a 3x3 showdown of Rob/Phillip/Natalie vs. the other three (unless they truly are as dumb as they have been portrayed). And as long as Phillip is around, if nothing else, the tribal councils will continue to be very entertaining.

If Grant wakes up, he might be the winner. And I'm hoping either Andrea or Natalie ends up growing a backbone (I don't have much faith in the third degree - Ashley). Otherwise this will be a lot more predictable than it needs to be.

This show was good but it is just boring now. I think it has become a cult like group with Rob being a little too in control. If the other tribe really wants to open the eyes of the cult group they need to work on that more. I do not think Phillip is as crazy as he is leading on. I think he is just a good actor. I am wondering how many they are going to let go to Redemption now before they start challenges. I also hope a couple things with Redemption.... that they do not let anyone watch the challenges, and that the last person only comes back at the final 3.

You are not alone, I can't stand him either! I really don't get the appeal of him & I don't get why all the others are willing to just let him run the whole show without even questioning it. :umm:

I totally agree. If it continues the way things are now, it is just going to continue to get more boring every week. I would love nothing more than to see Rob voted off & get beat by Matt at Redemption Island. :diablo:

I am really enjoying this season...especially Phillip. He makes me crack up every time I watch it. He is such a loose cannon you just get all kinds of wacko when he is in the picture. I also agree, sucks for Matt, but he should of been voted off because he had no loyalty. And it was brillant...flushed out the idol, too.

I just got done watching. The Robfather has it all under his thumb .. but I think he also knows he has to watch his back the further the game continues.
I just feel bad for that Zapatera getting picked off one by one. I think Steve has given up .. I can't really blame him it DOES seem hopeless for them.

But I'm a Rob fan and would love to see him take it the end. I bet Russell is sitting at home shaking his head at his nemesis and his success so far.

Does it look like Rob is throwing these challenges? I don't think he wants anyone to think he is a threat in challenges, so he is downplaying it in the individual ones. When a few more people are voted off, I am betting he turns it on and starts winning immunity. It is kind of odd how much he is controlling his group. I don't think we have seen such mind control in awhile.

Why should the 6 buck a system that is working. Get to the final six and then turn on each other. Right now the jury is going to primarily be former Zapetera members so if the Ometempe tribe wants a chance to win, it will need to be 3 of them in the final. Personally I think Rob's tribe knows exactly what is going on and will give him the ax the first chance they get at the final 6 level. They know at this point, none of them would win against him. Oh and he is arrogant enough, they could probably get him out with enough reassurances that they were voting another person out that he saves his idol for the last chance to play it.

The just do not know how redemtion island is going to play into the whole game. That is what could really hurt them al.

  20. Moodyzblu

    Moodyzblu Well-Known Member

Yeah it does seem like he could be throwing them .. it's a smart move if he is.
It IS odd .. kinda scary, if you think about it. For one guy to have SO much control over a group of people ?

Ugh so boring again. I do like that they sent Matt to Redemption to get him off the show but now he will either get to come back or be on the jury.

    Anyone still watching?

Robs tribe is stupid for not voting him out. It is just getting boring, redemption island is going to have the cool kids on it. Rob however is making a mistake voting the other tribe off because that is going to be alot of them on the jury.

I don't know what it'll take for me to stop watching. :pardon: That being said, if those people don't vote Rob off he needs to win. & I still hate him.

Well if Rob ends up going against Phillip at the end, it doesn't matter who's on the jury. Rob will win. It is boring but I've been watching still. I can't believe how dumb (naive) Rob's tribe is. Will they ever show some imagination on their own and do something interesting?

If I had to guess from the previews for next week I think someone (namely Matt) will be back for what looks to be a grueling immunity challenge and will win. Rob said something about 32 days worth of work was down the drains in the preview and that is the only scenario I could see be the case. I'm pretty sure the tribe is smart enough to see Rob will win in the final 3 against everyone. He better play that idol at the next tribal no matter how secure he thinks he is. I've actually enjoyed seeing his tribe stick together. How many other seasons has there been where the majority ended up going home because the minority managed to wiggle into their brains just enough to get a foot in the door (think all of Russell's other seasons)? Now they are guaranteed final six plus whoever comes back from Redemption and it is everyone for themselves.

Seems from the previews that maybe next week will get interesting. I an not believe Mike (is that his name) gave up his chance to see his mom, I think that was foolish, but oh, well.

Borrrrrrriinng! That is all I can say. I hate it when one group of people just dominate the whole game & it is so predictable. And I have no idea why those people can't smarten up & get rid of Rob. :grr:

I'm having difficulty wrapping my head around the possibility that Phillip is not as dense or crazy as he lets on. Maybe there is a darkhorse in this field (although I would have a hard time voting for him, myself).

I think Rob is finally realizing Phillip might be trouble in the end. How much longer is Rob's hidden immunity idol good for? He still has that trick up his sleeve. I am still pulling for Rob. He is the only thing that has made this season intersting for me.

Any predictions for the finale tonight? I'm having a tough time figuring this season out. Clearly Rob is the favorite, but there are too many players for me to figure it out.

If Matt comes back from Redemption Island and is in the final three, I think he will win. I am still pulling for Rob, so I hope that doesn't happen. That whole Redemption Island thing is a big question mark that you don't know how will impact the game.

Rob wins but I think this may have been the worst Survivor ever. Well at least it may have been the worst group of contestants ever. Rob played great and deserved to win but there were so many complete nothings on both teams this year. At least Philip made things interesting. I was disappointed Matt didn't at least win the 100K award from Sprint, but I predict he'll be on the next Survivor (which is in the South Pacific). They said two veterans return next year so I'll make an early prediction it's Matt and Philip.

I was very happy for Rob!! :woo: :woo: But, I too was hoping Matt would win the 100K and was bummed when he didn't. He deserved to win something!

I completely agree with you about being a whole lot of nothings. Rob truly was a mastermind and puppeteer the whole time. Yikes!!

In the previews for next season, when talking about two veterans coming back, it really looks like a quick shot of Matt. I hope so!!
