So, I have barely felt baby A move today so I decided to lay down and focus on the movements. I ate some cereal, drank some OJ and tried several different positions, but only felt him move 3 times in 2 hours. I always hate calling the doctor and going into triage for stuff like this because chances are he is fine, but it's better to be safe than sorry. So, I'm off to triage! I'm doing the right thing, right?

Absolutely you are doing the right thing!! You're probably right in that most likely everything is fine, but what's it hurt to find out? Keep us posted!! Thinking about you!

The right thing and the easy thing rarely are the same. Be sure to give us an update on how it went.

I have some days that I don't feel them much. Baby a used to be the mover- now Baby B is. But I am 33 weeks almost and so thy have fewer movements than before. But they both have never been huge movers...how far along are you?? Please do let us know how it went!!

Thanks everyone! I went in and they put me on the monitor and the babies looked great! Baby A (the one I was most worried about) started moving just fine. Their strip looked great and I was in and out of there within an hour! The nurse that we had was the same one a had a couple weeks ago when I went in for some spotting. She was great and said that now that she knows us we have to deliver these babies when she is working! I have a regular appointment tomorrow then an u/s in 2 weeks.

    Thanks again!

They ALWAYS do that! The moment the nurses put the monitors on, the sleepy baby starts jumping all over the place! :babyflips:

That does always seem to be the way it goes. I always was surprised at how many movements were going on in there that I couldn't feel.. but then I'd see them on ultrasound and realize I was glad I couldn't feel them dancing a jig in there all day long!

Glad everything is fine! I could never ever feel my Baby A and they always had a heck of a time trying to monitor her on NST. She was scruched into this little ball in the bottom corner of my pelvis. The only time we could get real good readings on her was with u/s. It's very nerve wracking for sure.

I don't know how the babies know when those monitors are on, but they do!!
