Nyah and West are here!

    Hi Everyone,

    Our daughter Nyah Lydia and son West Jack were born on Dec 10 at 2am. They came at 37w3days via c-section since neither could tolerate labour, but they are both doing well now. West was twin A and was born at 6lbs 9oz while Nyah was 5lbs 15ozs. We stayed four days in hospital because their weights dropped close to 10% in the first 48hrs, but we all roomed together for the duration and we're home now, tired but very happy.

    Thanks for all the support from everyone here! We'll see you in the first year forum.

    Congrats! How wonderful you carried them so long and were able to bring them home with you. Can't wait to be where you are! Enjoy your time with your babies :)

    Great weights!! Congrats! We were due around the same time and on bed rest together and we both had healthy babies who came home with us!!! Enjoy and I will see you in the First Year!!

    Thanks! I was thinking of you when I made this post and how well both our sets of twins have done. The bed rest was a long haul, but more than worth it. After all the worries, I'm still a bit amazed (and ecstatic :)) to see them here at home with us.

    Congratulations! Don't worry, by one month your body will be used to being awake all night and it won't be as bad. :)
