Ask her if she wants to nanny?

So I met a young lady that was working at Buy Buy Baby. She was helping us. I normally don't rely on salespersons for help because I like to do my own research. But she was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Turns out twins and triplets run in her family and she was a former nanny in NY. She knew so much! She just moved to the area (Georgia) and only had the job for a week. We need a nanny for the twins due in April. I want to call back up to the store to see if she would be interested. Is this too forward?

 

Are you near Alpharetta? I keep meaning to go to the new Buy Buy Baby, I'm in Marietta.

I would go to the store and talk to her in person. Give her your contact information and just tell her the situation and that if she's interested you'd like the chance to talk more. I once got a babysitting gig by being able to calm down a customer's rowdy toddler without bribery when I worked in a grocery store.

 

Yep, I'm in Marietta too. It was worth the trip. We didnt buy anything yet but it was so clean and organized. They had so much more stuff on display than at BRU.

Thats a great idea. Maybe I'll make a trip back up there when she is working.

I would also ask in person. Why not, she can only say no and you haven't lost anything. Then again you might get a great nanny.

Oh and I can't imagine she'll want to to stay at that job in Alpharetta. She says she lives downtown!

Make sure you get references before you just trust her but I think she sounds like a great person to ask. She may jump all over that offer!

 

Definitely. Background and reference checks comes standard :good: I dont know enough about her to hire her on the spot.
