I re-joined WW on Wednesday. I am doing the Monthly Pass and plan on attending meetings at lunch on Wednesdays. I am actually a "lifetime member" (although you would not know that if you looked at me now!!). I was worried about the new program, but after doing it a few days (I started last Sunday online and went to my first meeting Wed) I really like it!

Good luck to all!! We can do this!!! :clapping:

Add me to the WW team! I'm getting the monthly pass on Sunday and am going to do meetings! I've never done this part of it but think it will help.
I know we can all do this! I'm so happy to be part if such a wonderful team :)
Maybe a daily thread about how we're doing and what we've eaten?

I like the daily thread idea! Maybe with helpful tips for snacks, etc. Things to change it up and what not?!?

I am just curious about weight watchers, is this something you have to do forever??? I am always hesitate to do diets like this or Jenny Craig because I watched my mom do it and always gained weight. I am just curious how it has worked for others.

I can only speak for myself, but I did it 7 years ago and lost 50 lbs and for the most part, have kept it off. I do still go up and down about 10-15 lbs but I think it really helped me. I've been off WW for 5.5 years now and I think what it taught me was portion control. :good: I think it did a great job because it let me eat real food and not pre-packaged stuff.

I also enjoyed the daily threads we had a while back. :good: :good:

The thing with WW is you can eat ANYTHING you want. You just have to account for it. So if you want a sundae-have it. BUT, it's going to cost you some points(lots of points! ;) ). It becomes a lifestyle. I think if you really follow it well, it almost becomes second nature. My problem is doing it and then falling off the bandwagon. I find it hard to jump back on. But I've heard of many WW's who have joined, and kept it off....years later. Good luck with whatever you decide!

YEAH!! We CAN do this!! So far, I am loving the new Points+ plan. I haven't used the online tools in the past, but so far I am really enjoying the online tracker. I have also found a ton of new recipes that I am planning to use. I am so excited this and excited to feel in control of my eating again.

Weight watchers is great since it teachs you about your food choices. It is up to you to decide how to spend your points, but if you want the chocolate bar you can have it. Just have to track the points.
I lost 40 pounds on ww after I had my girls. I'm only up about 10 pounds from that, so I have kept off 30 pound since 2006.

I used to love the daily threads we had here, both for food and excersice.
