This Week's Appointments Nov. 22-26

Had my 3 mo appt and NT ultrasound today! All looks great it was so cool to see sooo many arms and legs!! One stayed still moving an arm here and there, the other was doing backflips and summer saults!! So needless to say we got a glimpse between one set of legs** poss girl** sooo hopefully the other is a boy!! HR's of 156 and 145. I can't believe how many pictures we have, we need an album, anyone know a place to buy cute ones to fit these pics? Goodluck everyone with your appointments!!

 

I have u/s to check fluid and NST followed by OB tomorrow. I am so ready for these babies. Maybe Thanksgiving babies?

 

35 week u/s and NST today. Everything looks good, their weights were estimated around 6lbs each, but baby A was so far down that it was very hard to get an accurate measurement of his head, which could have thrown his overall measurements off. I guess he's getting into position for his arrival in the not so distant future.

 

Great weights!! I don't get to have a growth U/S until next Tuesday if I make it that long. My last one was at 32 weeks and they were both about 4 pounds. Any thoughts as to when your babies will come?

 

I had another high-risk ultrasound yesterday and then an appointment with my OB afterward. I'm 25 weeks.
Ultrasound: Both girls are doing great. All parts still working properly. They're both vertex (and were at my last ultrasound 2 weeks ago) - please stay head down, munchkins! Baby A weighed 1 lb 10 oz. and Baby B weighed 1 lb 11 oz.

OB Appt: Talked to my OB about the Braxton-Hicks I've been having. She said to give her a call if I had more than 3 an hour. We also finally talked about a birthing plan, and surprisingly she was more comfortable with a breech birth than I thought she was going to be. She said as long as A is vertex and B is smaller than A, she's okay with vaginal delivery. That's a big relief to me - I was sure she was going to push for C-section even if it was just B who was breech. She did ask me to prepare myself for the possibility of a C-section and to realize that "game-day plans" can always change.

 

Those weights sound great for 32 weeks! hopefully you make it to you next week's measurement. I think this may have been our last growth ultrasound, although I'll know for sure when I visit my OB on friday. As for arrival, I have no idea, these are my first, so I'm not really sure what to be looking for I'd like to keep them in one more week if possible, even though I'm more than ready to get back to some semblance of my normal body. My OB promises to evict them at 38 weeks in any event, but I'm not sure I'll make it that far.

I just had my U/S and Ob visit! They did a growth U/S after all. Baby A estimate is 4 pounds 11 oz and baby B 4 pounds 7 oz. It was hard to measure them becaue they are so tight in there! I hope they are a bit bigger. Looks like they will be here by this weekend. I am almost 4 cm and 90% effaced!

 

I had u/s to check fluid and dopplers today. They also did a bio physical profile - both girls scored and 8 out of 8.

Friday is my last NST and my c-section is scheduled for Monday.

 

I had an appointment with the anesthesiologist yesterday, and then an ultraosund and a clinic visit.

At the ultrasound, both girls scored 8/8, and fluid was good. Baby A measured 3 lbs. 8 oz. and Baby B measured 4 lbs. 10 oz. That's over 8 lbs of baby in there! We got to see a little bit in 3D, which I've never seen before and it was so cool!

I spent a long time discussing birth and pain relief with various people, but I talked about that in another post.

My cervix shortened from 2.2cm to 1.2 cm, so I am now officially not to be doing any shopping, lifing, cleaning, etc. and should basically stay home and be a couch potato until the babies arrive...good thing I did my Christmas shopping early this year! lol
