I think DS needs some good luck soon

I feel so bad for DS. Today he fell 4 times while playing in the backyard on two different times. He bit into his lip in three places and then got a chip in his front top tooth. The dentist on call said it sounded superficial and to watch it for a few days.

Here are other things he has been through:

    1. open heart surgery at 8-weeks old
    2. severe allergy to Amoxicillian
    3. allergic to milk, butter, whey (found out on his 1st birthday when he broke out in a rash from the frosting on his cake)
    4. allergic to mosquito bites that cause huge hives

I think he is definately accident prone and needs some good luck soon. Each time he fell today he cried for less than 2 minutes and then wanted to play again. I think he is all boy and the chip bugs us more because we were going for Christmas card pictures in two weeks.

oh ugh for all the falls and such! Our son chipped his front tooth at 1 yr, I was horrified, but thankfully its a baby tooth that he won't have to live with forever! Your son is a trooper!

actually our dentist made the comment that you should keep watching for even more than a few days, that it can "bruise" and actually turn colors but still might just be a bruise and nothing more serious. hopefully you've seen the worst of it!

    Poor baby!

Jessy is pretty hard knock too. She's getting better as she gets older.

I have a high reaction to Mosquitos too. Not fun!

We plan on keep a close eye on him. His lip was swollen last night from biting it so much. We gave him Motrin before bed and the swelling was greatly reduced this morning. He is acting normal today, but we are trying to take it easy.

How is your son's tooth? Did the dentist file it down or does it still have a chip? We are wondering what our options might be.
