We all thought it would be fun to see all of your kiddos in their Halloween best!!

Here's me & my crew (no I don't dress up)...and my avi shows my baby girls :D My son didn't get to trick or treat tonight because he had a football game, so it was a girls night out. We had a blast and my son's team won 30-0.

It's up to the individual county here. My county didn't want kids TOT the night before school. The next county over (where I teach) is doing it tonight. I, personally, love that it was on Saturday instead of Sunday. We didn't get in to after 9 which is two hours past the girls' bedtime and they would have been mean the next morning for school.

We had a trunk or treat last night and that is what we are doing for Halloween. My DH works tonight and don't want to go out by myself. We just told the kids Halloween was yesterday and it worked really well. They got more candy than they will ever eat adn all their friends were at the trunk or treat. Here are my homemade costumes that I spent like $8 for both. Great deal.My link

Everyone's kids are so cute!!
Trick or Treating will be tonight here as well. I have never understood changing it. Even if Monday is a school day, what do they do if Halloween falls on a week day? :pardon:

Here are my two from when they dressed for school on Friday...

Have to admit, if you don't have a blog or other places you post your pics like FB then posting pics are kind of a pain in the butt on this site...so I'll just say this...

My little ones did so good this year. They actually understood the concept of "trick or treating." It was so cute, after they got candy from a house they would immediately say, "Thank you, mama another house." LOL We probably did 15 - 20 houses which is a lot for two two year olds. :)

Loving all the photos!! Keep 'em coming!

Here are my kids-we were all bugs-and second hand at that! :) Well, besides Mr. Bumblebee...

And this one cracks me up! She has no idea what she is doing, or what purpose it serves-but she's following anyways! :)

So far we have always had TOT on Halloween proper. I do resent that they moved changing the clocks back until after Halloween--it was not a bedtime issue when it got dark a little after 5. Still, our neighborhood is small, so they were back before 8. My boys are 16 and 18 (almost 19); they did not dress up. In fact, the oldest reported for duty at 1:30 on Halloween and is now in basic training. (There are more pictures at the link, if you scroll down.) ToTers

We actually went ToT on the 24th; a nearby city was having a community Halloween event that we really like. We went as nursery rhyme characters because the boys love them. DH and I were the King and Queen of Hearts, Nate was Little Boy Blue, and Jack was Jack Be Nimble. I didn't get a lot of great pics of the 2 of them together because the ToT was during their naptime, and they were a little grumpy!

    The whole family

    The king and his subjects

    The queen and her subjects

Jack melting down from overtiredness (he was totally fine once we got there ;))
