I was thinking of getting the kids each a learning type system for Christmas...they will be 2yrs 3 months. Does anyone have any reccomendations? I was thinking the tag jr thing, but dh was thinking something more with games

Can I ask why? Most systems are designed for preschoolers at the youngest. Yes, there are young kids that can play it, but there is so much for toddlers to learn, they really don't need a learning system yet. Even as good as Leapsters are, they really aren't good for children younger than 3-4. I would hold off another year or so.

Honestly, at that age I'd focus more on active toys. They have their entire lives to use electronic devices, no need to start at 2.

And truly... they're a bit too young for most of the kid focused electronic systems. If you're interested in helping them learn letters and stuff like that, magnetic letters on the fridge are great for two year olds.

Our kids have the Tag Jr. and I recommend it. It let's them start to "read" on their own. But I wouldn't recommend any game-type system at this age.

I agree. My kids also have the Tag Jr. and they really enjoy it. I would recommend it highly.
