My availablility will depend on how my foot is recovering. I will do what I can to get there.

I am getting better day by day, but this is a LONGGGGG process.

If we do a MNO I'd prefer it to be a weekend my kids are with their dad, if its a kid activity, obviously I'd like it on a weekend I have them.
I can change weekends but need some advance notice.

I am in. I'm up for either one a MNO or a kid outing. (MNO is much more relaxing though).

I remembered for you! ;) And...one of these days she and I need to meet anyways.. I 'knew' her before I got to TS and it's because of her I found TS! :)

I'm up for a MNO. Are we thinking a Saturday night possibly?

Nice, nice, let's talk about a Sat. in April, befor school vacation or after, b/c of all the busy a. mending people. A MNO it's more relaxing I agree, the dates would be 4/2, 4/9, 4/16 (4/23 is easter weekend) or 4/30.

I go with the date that most of you take and I'll be there.

Location wise, I know some of us will have to drive a bit, but what area would be good for the most of us?

I think most of those Saturday's are good for me except 4/30... I'll be in Italy. :tomato:

    I can't do 4/2 or 4/9. Does 4/16 work for anyone?

As of now...works for me. :)

    So far, so good.

4/16 might work for me. We have a birthday party at the neighbor's in the afternoon, will probably go for quite a while, but maybe I could sneak out just before the chicks bedtime.

    Where are you located?
I meant to bring this up. I was thinking somewhere in Natick. That would be about 45 min. for Mo, Juj, and Sarah, maybe an hour for Molly and Ali and just over an hour (??) for Meaghan.

4/16 will most likely work for me.

Natick would also work for me.

Natick is about exactly one hour. I met my SIL there around Christmas time(she's in Marblehead). That's an easy drive for me. :)

Natick is fine! We might have John's party that day but I can sneak out later possibly!!!

As of right now I have the girls that night and won't be able to make it. However since the next weekend is Easter and Cassie flat out refuses to spend Easter with her dad (she enjoys the day at church), I might be able to make some changes. :good: :aggressive: Let me see what I can do, and if Cassie is still adamant about being with me for Easter.

ETA: Natick is at least an hour for me, BUUUTTTT  if I beg :help: nicely I might be able to convince Di to let me stay with her and come home Sunday.......

4/16 would be fine with me, it would take me about an hour aswell, I come from Cumberland,RI.

I hope you can work it out Molly :)

I can do Natick. I likely will be having a sleepover at my mom's new house. She's moving to Norfolk. Yes, that is an extra 30 minutes away from me. whatevah <_<

Wow! A great turnout so far. Fingers crossed Molly!!

Where should we meet and what time? I have a birthday party in the afternoon but will sneak away when the girls go to bed.

Options are: British Beer Company (looove their sweet potato fries), Fridays, Bertucci's, Uno's, John Harvard's, Cheesecake Factory (pricey, IMO), Olive Garden (always ridiculous waits).....to name a few.....

I'm game for anything... But I will say... I will go to Cheesecake Factory for JUST the Flying Gorilla drink(think alcoholic milkshake), and the banana creme cheescake. YUM! LOL!

Never been to British Beer Company but I'm always up for something new. I could do Uno's, Bertucci's, or Fridays.

All of the places have something special, yummy !! Love the Cheesecake Factory. But I always up to something new.

I'm good with any of those choices. Heck if you bring me a beer in a brown paper bag, I'll be happy to sit on a bench and chat with you.

My major concern is the ridiculous wait at cheesecake factory...even if you have a reservation.

Good point. And with a giant party it could be worse, and I don't think they do call ahead. :( Dh and I went to one in West Hartford at 7pm and it was an hour wait. At 8 pm, it was 90 minutes...

LOL!!! What she said!!! Me tooooo, give me a beer in a bag and I'll be on the bench as well.

Dianne was telling me about a newer place, unfortunately I forget the exact name, but it was something like Big Papi's????? I don't know and couldn't find it when I looked for Natick restaurants. Rumor is if I get the night free, and that's where we end up, I might be able to drag her along........ I'll see if she can tell me again what the name of the place was....me and my forgetful mind. I can't even blame it on age creeping up on me, I've been like this FOREVER!

    BBC is really cool!

Is that all it takes? :spiteful:

It IS ridiculous and to be honest, I don't think their menu is all it's cracked up to be for the price you pay. :pardon:
Natick's restaurants always have a wait, no matter which one you go to, but this one is one of the worst for wait times.

Hmmm...no clue what that place is. But she would know since she works right there basically!
I would rather we go somewhere that everyone (or almost everyone) is familiar with. :good:

Okay so I was right, just couldn't find it online. Big Papi's Grille

Not sure if its any good, but I'll be the atmosphere will be terrific. I do see two drawbacks to it...one its a bit pricier than some of the chains we usually do, and two if we are looking at mid April...that's right after opening day at Fenway and might be a bit crowded. However near opening day COULD mean we might get a chance to actually see David Ortiz!!!! LOL!

Oooh yeah, I've heard of that one. My bro and SIL went there and said the food was terrible and sooooooo overpriced. :nea: I'm not a fan of trying it. :pardon: If everyone else wants to, that's fine.

I haven't been but have heard good things about British Beer Works (I may have gone to one down the Cape, is there one in Hyannis?).

  30. MichelleL

    MichelleL Well-Known Member

Yep, they do. British Beer Company.

I think that place or Friday's would be a good bet since I know they have tables that could accommodate us. Olive Garden too but their wait is always beyond ridiculous.

So...it looks like we'll have a good turnout, right?

    Molly
    Michelle
    Meaghan
    Maureen
    Michelle (the other one...hellloooo Michelley...checkin!!)

And now...for the other letters of the alphabet...

    Sarah
    Sabine
    Julie
    Alison

Am I forgetting anyone? :tomato:

Not that I am a big drinker anyways...but do they serve more than beer?

  33. MichelleL

    MichelleL Well-Known Member

Yes ma'am. They do wine and mixed drinks also.

Woo hoo! Looks like we have a party started! I don't drink beer, either, but enjoy other libations...and this time I can enjoy them guilt free. I think the other times we've met I've either been pregnant or breastfeeding :)

The BBC sounds good. I don't recall ever eating there or drinking there for that matter.

    And once again, I'm easy.
