ivana was staying dry all day (except naptime and bedtime) for about a month straight. however, the last couple days she's had consistent accidents :( and it happens mostly when we are at home. somehow, she stays dry when we're out, but she pees in her pullups when we're at home. what's going on? do i have to go back to reminding her and taking her to the potty every half hour? what do i do?

The newness may have worn off so she's not concentrating as hard. She probably also knows that it's not a huge deal if she pees in a pullup (ie - no pee running down her leg). My advice would be to ditch the pullups. If she's potty trained, have her in underwear, and yes - remind her every once in a while. I remind mine probably every two hours, and they've been potty trained for more than a year.

    Ditto on the underwear.

Yup I ditto the underwear too. Pull-ups are too much like a diaper and once the newness of being potty trained wears off .. they use it like one.

    I completely agree. :good:

With that being said, my girls had several bouts of regression before it finally 100% clicked for them. For me, I didn't have the patience to ride it out and deal with all those accidents, and I also didn't want them to see me getting upset, so I would put them back in diapers and start again in a couple weeks. It worked for us as they are now fully potty trained and have been for several months, and not to mention it saved my sanity.

    Good Luck!!

ok, i took everyone's advice and put her in regular underwear (no training pants, either). she's been wearing them since after naptime, and i've been taking her every hour to the potty. so far so good!
