solid and food allergy

I fed my boy banana 3 times in a month. He puked it up after he ates it. It happened with peas too. I mean he loves banana and peas. Does it mean he can't eat them anymore? Is he allergic to banana and peas?thanks.

 

How much are you feeding him? How close are you feeding him a bottle? Those would be my first questions-that maybe you are overfeeding him? Sometimes babies will eat and eat-and then realize-oops! That was too much! Are there any other signs? Hives? Eczema? Diarrhea? Is it immediately after he's eaten them?

And did he vomit every single time you fed it to him? Or just once? Twice?

 

It was close to bottles. It was like 3 hrs apart. But maybe he ate too much (almost a jar). He loved them. So I'm not sure if I should feed him banana and peas again

He did not have hives,rash,.. Yes its just like 5 mins after he ate

 

A jar is a lot if it is something new. I would try giving him just a tablespoon and see if that stays down. If it does, you are probably just overfeeding him.

Thanks. I will give him some peas today with his cereal see how he reacts.with solid, I never force him to eat. I just let him eat whatever, however much he wants.sometimes, we are suprised how much he eats. Sometimes, I just stop feeding him even though he wants more.I only give him 3 tbsp and 2 jars of baby food stage 1 (veggie and fruit).he loves veggies and fruit
