I'm unsure of what to do with the monitor situation. We have a 1 1/2 story house, with the kids' rooms upstairs and ours directly underneath. When the baby comes, she will sleep in our room in a crib until we decide she's ready for her crib upstairs. At that point I'm not sure what to do with the monitors. I want to keep one in with the boys and will need one for her. Do they make dual base monitors or are there any other suggestions? Thanks!

My sister just used two different monitors. She never had any issues.

Thanks for your response! I should have put in my first post that we do have another monitor set and tried to have them going at the same time and there was a wretched screeching coming from both speakers. We did try the different channels on each but that didn't work. (We also have interference on our home phone too so it really didn't surprise me.) Not sure what we're going to do.

my friend just put her monitor in the hallway in between both of her kids rooms. it picked up all noise loud enough to warrant attention. we moved our to the babies room but it can still pick up very loud noises coming from the girls room which is about 10ft away.

graco used to make a dual base/multi-room monitor, but I'm not sure if they are around anymore. The one I saw was at target about a year ago. I don't know if they are in stores anymore, but you could google "dual base monitors" or "multi room monitors" Also, maybe a dumb question but are video monitors on a different frequency? If they are you could try a video monitor in either the twins room or new baby's room.

We bought the Mobi camera monitor with an extra camera. Its nice bc the boys room is right next to ours and Hannah's is next to theirs so we can hear the boys through the wall but can switch it to their camera if we want to or when they go to bed/nap. Otherwise we have the camera/monitor on Hannah all night:)

We use 2 of the same Sony BabyCall monitor, one in each room. It works for us with no interference.
