Napping

My girls are still needing 2 naps a day which is fine....Just womdering how long/how many total hours your LO's nap during the day...

 

2.5/3 hours during the day (one nap) and 12 hours during the night. they've always been big sleepers.

 

During the SY, my two averaged 2-3 hour naps a day (either as one nap or broken up as two naps) and slept around 12 hours at night.

 

Mine sleep anywhere from 1.5-3 hours during the day (1 nap) and 12-14 hours at night.

 

1 nap lasting 2-3 hours. They sleep 11-12 hours at night.

 

they started the SY sleeping 11 - 12 hours at night & usually 3.5 - 4 hours between two naps during the day. we ended the SY at 11 - 12 hours at night & 2.5 - 3 hours in one nap during the day.

 

This is typical of us too... most days are the latter w them going down to one nap now but it's hit and miss lol

 

My boys generally sleep 2-2.5 hrs during the day (3 hrs if we're lucky) and then 11 hours at night.

 

Mine sleep 12 hrs at night (11 last night though), and 1.5 hr nap IF I'm lucky :headbang: I wish they'd nap longer, I know they are tired, but I have tried everything and they just refuse to nap. Sometimes ds will stay asleep after dd wakes up and sometimes he'll nap 2-2.5 hrs, but usually dd wakes him up and then they are both tired and grouchy. *sigh*

 

we're in the same boat...i wish they'd do longer of a nap too but i have 1 who doesn't seem to need as much!
