I couldn't believe that no one told Dan to step down from reward to get the rice and tarp. He does NOTHING. he sure didn't deserve the reward.

Naonka is such a selfish person. I can't believe she said at the end that she wouldn't apologize for anything.

I LOVE Jeff. He is an amazing host. I think he was SO annoyed at the quitters. I think they shouldn't be allowed to be jury either. They should allow the last 2 people voted off before this jury to replace them. I just don't think they should have a say in who wins the million.

Just because 2 people quit doesn't affect those voted off before them, only after them so I think the Jury was a bit bitter about that but that's life.

I told Devon that all of the people going on the reward should have given up the challenge and left Naonka standing there alone. They looked just as bad as she did.

I agree about Dan, he just sat in the chair and cheered.

Nooo! Benry was my MVP in Fantasy Survivor. I wouldn't have minded seeing him win it. Guess I get to hope Holly wins it now. I think they are insane for not getting rid of Jane (although I wouldn't mind if she won). Isn't almost every final challenge an endurance comp? Hasn't she already won all the endurance challenges? Dan will be making the finals having done NOTHING all season.

Do any of you watch the Ponderosa episodes ? They show what life is like back at the jury house. It's cool to see them get to shower and eat .. and talk. They were SO pissed at what Kelly and Nay did ! You can watch them at Survivor.com .. they're like 5-6 minute episodes .. but real fun to watch.
Poor Benry was SO blind-sided .. they should have gotten rid of Jane. Jane has BEATEN them ALL at physical challenges ! I can't believe someone like Dan .. who DOES nothing at ALL is even playing this game. I don't get it. Then he stands there and tries to strategize with everyone .. like he's a part of the game. I sure hope he gets booted soon.

I agree about Dan, he's flown under the radar by doing absolutely nothing! He'll probably end up making it to the final just because no one is worried about him. NO ONE says anything about him. I really hope Holly makes it, but I really doubt she'll make it that far.

And...crying over a chicken, come on!! I guess I must be heartless but rice versus chicken and I am all over that chicken baby!!

Rachel, I am SO with you!!! I'd eat that chicken in a second!

My dh says he would take Dan to finals because no one would vote for him.

I really like Holly and hope she wins it. Fabio is just too clueless and I hate floppers like Sash. Very annoying. I do think strategically, Jane needs to be next if she doesn't win immunity. I do think that getting Benry off now was a good choice because he is a physical threat, was willing to flip on his alliance so easily, and now they have the numbers so getting rid of Jane is fine.

I don't consider Sash a flipper at this point. If you think about it, his entire alliance up and quit on him. He had to decide which side to go with.

I had never seen those Ponderosa shorts. I watched all of them from this season. It was interesting to learn that Benry had a pretty icky looking burn on his hand from that day. I wonder if he would have been medically pulled over it during the next week.

Really ? I haven't had a chance to watch it yet .. hmmm
How did you feel about Kelly and Nay enjoying the good life at Ponderosa even though they quit ?

    What are the Ponderosa shorts??

They film them as soon as they leave tribal council and follow them as they enter the world of the civilized again. Its fun to watch as they get weighed and get to eat real food and for a lot of them get to see themselves for the first time. They also get to take day trips and eplore the area. They're fun to watch ..
This is a link to the first one for this year .. its Alina .. Ponderosa

    (hope it works)

I will have to check those out.

I do not think however the 2 quiters should get to go have fun and get to decide who gets 1 million. They should have bumped up 2 others or just lessened the jury by 2 ppl.

What is Janes big sob story everyone is talking about?? I must have missed it. I do not really like her, but I have to say at her age she has really proved herself by winning so many immunity challenges and still sticking it out. Fabio is pretty stupid but there is something about him I really like, maybe it is the way he flips his hair. It could also be the fact that nobody calls him by his real name. Dan is totally flying under the radar but we always have one of those.

Jane went away on reward with Chase and Holly, and the other people ate her chicken. It sounds like she had been in charge of taking care of it since they got it so she was slightly attached to it. I'm sure it is mentally hard not to trust anyone completely for 39 days, so having a "pet" was probably helping her cope.

I also agree that purple Kelly and Nayonka should have just been given the boot, and maybe lost money for failing to fulfill their contracts.

    I agree.

I missed Jane's story to. I find her terribly annoying but I am impressed with her determination and how she has won some of the challenges.

I call Sash a flipper because he told Chase he was absolutely with him then during the reward told the other group he was definitely with them and was honestly considering being with them. I don't think he decided who he was going to vote with until Benry flipped on his group and came to Chase and promised his vote too. Sash just seems to be lost (for lack of a better word).

I think this has been an alright season of Survivor. For some reason it has held my attention. Sash has not been a huge player in my opinion, I do not really think they show him too much until it comes time to decide who to vote off. The oldies need to get together and get a youngin on their side.

I can not believe that Fabio, Jane, and Dan (is that his name) didn't gang up together and vote for Holly. Jeff was pretty much leading them to do that. At least that way Jane would have had a 50/50 chance to stay there causing a bit of a shake up if she won the tie challenge. If I were one of them, I would have at least went out with a fight instead of just voting out Jane. I didn't wait to see who casted what votes, but now with Jane gone it is Dan and Fabio waiting to get picked off one by one. Maybe Fabio will win all immunities from here on out to make it a interesting last few episodes.

I hope Fabio goes all the way. He has been strong the whole time. Holly however has too. Sash and Benry were way cocky sitting there saying who they were going to vote off next. And am I wrong or wasn't Benry the one that was tied at the hip with Jane?? Wait is it Benry left or Chase??

I agree. I must say, I am SO glad that Jane is gone. As much as I was impressed her competitive abilities, I found her one of the most annoying people ever!

Chase was the one tied at Jane's hip. Benry is out.

Tonight is the big night!!! I am going with either Dan or Fabio being the big winner.

    I swear
I will never watch survivor again if Dan is the big winner. He's such a waste.

I's love to see Holly win it but don't think she will.

Okay season I guess. I preferred Chase winning over Fabio but as long as Sash didn't, I was okay with either outcome. They have a new twist on the next one - called Salvation Island - but it seems rather lame. After you get voted off, you get sent to Salvation Island (not to be confused with Exile Island) where you stay until the next castoff arrives. At that point, those two compete in a one-on-one challenge and the loser is gone for sure whereas the winner sticks around to compete another day. Eventually the final Salvation Island winner re-joins the rest of the tribe remaining but I just don't see the point. They've tried similar things in the past and it was silly. This show is kind of winding down its run, although I still like to watch (a) because it's in high-def. and (b) if they have interesting contestants.

I was happy with the outcome. Although I DO think Fabio is a bit kooky .. I also think he played a good game. When the season first started I couldn't stand him .. but he sort of "grew" on me. Sash .. loser. Chase .. eh .. he didn't do anything real impressive (except make it to the final 3).

Um hello Sash and Fabio and the finale. How hot are they!!! Seriously!! Ok now onto the show. I am glad Fabio won. He really did make it there by busting his butt in those last challenges so I really do think he deserved it. I think the twist on next season should be a bit interesting.

I liked Fabio. He made me laugh and he did succeed in not backstabbing people. I do think he was more oblivious and out of the loop than strategic but it was part of why I liked him. I am so glad Sash didn't get any votes. I think that people like him and Russell (from previous episodes) forget or don't realize is that being too strategic can be self defeating and how important the social part of the game is to winning. Russell preaches how he is the most strategic player in the history of survivor and how he deserves to win but he doesn't get the importance of the social aspect and the jury.

I'm not sure how redemption Island will go either. It could add a whole new factor but who knows. It could be good for the physical competitor without a social game and gets kicked off earlier. I guess I am not feeling like anything is broken so why fix it.

I am fairly pleased with the outcome, given the three choices. I didn't get to see who got the $100,000 because my DVR quite recording with several minutes left (apparently one of the football games went over?). Can someone tell me?

I was glad when Fabio won. I'm another one that couldn't stand him to begin with, but was rooting for him at the end.

    That would be Jane.

yup, they said Jane won by a landslide and it wasn't even close and no one in the history of survivor had ever gotten so many votes.

so can someone tell me why? I am clearly in the minority but I found her to be just an annoying old lady. Did you see her at the last tribal? She looked evil! She was angry that her alliance voted her out. She was just nasty. What did people like in her except that she won some challenges? She said she had been doing some hard core training for the challenges so that explained some of it.

I admire Jane due to her age and how good she was in the challenges. However throughout the whole season I did not see one stand out person in the whole show.

I liked Jane, but thought she took getting voted off very poorly. It is Survivor. I think everyone in that show gets backstabbed or lied to at some point. She didn't do a very good job of fighting for herself either. She should have convinced Fabio and Dan to vote one of the other guys off, but from what they showed us, that never happened.

I am curiuos how this whole Redemption Island will impact the next season. Will people be less likely to lie and backstab someone because they could end up coming back? We will just have to wait and see.
