I am loving this age!

My twins are 18mos old now and I am loving this age!! They are so funny to watch. They can't talk but they sure know how to make me laugh! They are constantly learning new signs each day and learning what their body parts are. They get excited over the littlest things too!!

Tonight, we took them to Cabelas at our mall to look at their fish. They just went nuts when they saw the fish swimming around! Riley was signing "fish" the whole time and would squeal and point every time a fish swam past him :laughing:

I really don't take enough time to sit on the floor with them and watch them and interact with them. It seems the house takes more time than it should.

:wub: :wub: Dh and i were just talking about how much fun this age is! Everything is so new and amazing to them, and since they aren't really old enough to get into trouble deliberately, you can't help but giggle even when they do something wrong! :air_kiss:

 

Cute boys. I love this age too. Now that we are coming out of survival mode it is so fun. Sometimes in the morning I lay there and listen to them play. It is so fun to see how different it is with twins than 1. (I have a 4 year old.)

 

To the bolded part, YES, YES, YES!!! I finally feel normal again. Having twins isn't as hard as it was.

I also have a 4 yr old. He will be 5 in Sept.

 

ITA!!! The second year has been just so much fun for us. :wub: Of course my guys are heading into the Terrible Twos and are starting to get terribly headstrong, so I may be singing a different tune in a few months. :laughing:

P.S. My boys LOVE fish too, and sign/say "fish" every time we go to a store with fish tanks.

 

Awww aren't they cute! I can't say I love the toddler age.. I'm a baby person but I DO love watching the boys interact w each other now.. play, argue, kiss it's just so cute.

 

awww they are adorable...that is great....I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with this age right now. I hear about the terrible two's, but I think this age before the terrible two's is worse....

I love watching them learn and giving me hugs and kisses, but I HATE the fighting, the not listening, the crying, screaming, whining, pulling, pushing, testing me me. UUGGGHHHH...it's stressful, but still lots of fun interacting with them...so it balances it out I suppose...LOL
