Not sure where to post this, but I am starting here since I think this may be due to some sort of vitamin deficiency while breast feeding or something like that?

I've never had this happen before, but I just this week started having these small/medium ish sized bruises showing up on my thighs, about halfway from my pelvis and knees. I definitely haven't run into anything or done anything that should cause bruising, and there are new ones showing up as the old ones start to fade. I'm a bit worried, but can't really get into the doctor for another week and a half as my husband is out of town and it'd be a major undertaking to take the kids in with me.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them? I am terrible at taking my prenatals postnatally and I definitely don't eat a balance diet while juggling these two munchkins, so I'm guessing that it could be some sort of anemia or other deficiency?

It could be anemia, but I would def get to the doctor ASAP. Unexplained bruising is not something to play around with

This is kind of silly, but I started to get bruises around 7 months when the boys would kick me while I changed their diaper. We are working on "Lay still" now and I try to give them a toy.

I totally know what you are talking about. My husband would ask me where I was getting this bruise or that bruise and I said its from the babies. They are beating me up!!!

Sorry I haven't had any unexplained bruising. I would get to the Dr. soon as you can to have it checked out. I hope its nothing :)

Since having my boys a year ago, I bruise way too easily. I swear you could poke me and I'd bruise. I was extremely anemic after delivering my boys, went in for my 6 week check up and they didn't recheck my levels, but said I'd be fine to stop taking my irons supplements. However, the bruising just seems to have gotten worse along with tiredness, tons of headaches, etc. I would definitely get into your doctor and get checked out. I will be doing the same when we finally get to California next week where I can be seen.
