Ok... someone tell me I'm not the only one! I'm about 33 1/2 weeks and at this point when I stand up to walk I can BARELY lift my feet off the floor without intense pelvic area pain. I walk most of the time with a weird kind of shuffle. When I wake in the middle of the night add in I can barely do that and wind up holding onto everything I can on the way to the bathroom to even stay on my feet! This makes doing for my 2 year old VERY difficult!

Being post 32 weeks with twins is just awful! It's good for the babies but it is horrible on your body. I couldn't stand for more than a few minutes at a time but I was also on bed rest at that point.

I've been this way since 32 weeks also. My hips hurt when I lay down for too long - max time on either side is 90 min. When I get up to pee at night (every 90 min) I have to sit up for a moment before I stand to let my pelvis settle. Walking is difficult and I go slowly. The only relief I get now, is sitting in the pool for hours on end, reading a book. It's the only time my body doesn't hurt and I feel weightless. Oh, and I get prenatal massages weekly and see my chiropractor for hip adjustments every week. I hope you can find some relief.

Hang in there you can make it. I was on bedrest at that point with my twins. carrying that much baby, placenta, water, etc is hard.

Oh, girl....I am feeling your pain. Literally. My hips are soooo sore too, it does hurt to get up in the morning. All night I toss and turn and just pray for an hour of sleep! It's getting pretty hard on the body, but I just keep telling myself that I really don't want the babies to be born yet. Too soon. I am thankful they don't feel any of this discomfort I feel. I agree with the above post....the swimming pool is the most comfortable place to be. Even if just for an hour each day. Just to take all the pressure off my joints. I am sooooo happy I got a membership this year :)
