This Week's Appointments June 14-18

Tuesday (tomorrow) I have my regular 2 week appointment. Wondering when she will move me to weekly appointments or even start doing anything different than she has been as of yet!

 

I am at 32 weeks so my weekly appointment start this week and I go to them every week until I go into labor. I went to the maternal fetal specialist today and my ob/midwife thursday.

We were at the maternal fetal specalists from 8:22-11 (long appt). Both boys were very active. Baby A is 5lb 4 ozs and Baby B is 4lbs. 14oz. Cervis is 1 (the specialists said that was fine) They did some sort of swap inside of me to test for fetal movements and they might start giving some sort of steorid shots for the babies. So more to come with the ob/midwife visit thursday.

 

I am 16w1d and I had my first specialist appointment today. They did u/s and I got to see the babies! They said that baby a and baby b hava switched places. Both babies weigh 5 ounces and there heart beats are very strong! I go back in 5 weeks and I will find out the sex of the babies then!!!

 

Ultrasound and Dr.'s appointment today. Weight is: Baby A - 2lb and Baby B 2lb 3oz. My bp is normal but my 3 hour glucose came back a little high so the dr is having me do the 3 hour again in 4 weeks. Also, he put me on bedrest as of today so no more work. I'm very glad I stay home and rest.

 

Home from this weeks appointment. All is good- I go back in 2 weeks then after that will begin having weekly appointments. I am now 39 weeks big :silly:

 

Well, my appt WAS set for Thursday (my last before my C Section next week), but since I THOUGHT my waters may have broke yesterday I went in then. Everything looked fine, no water breaks yet!! Looks like I should make it until next Tuesday. HB's were 140's and 130's and lots of movement. Now I just have to wait for 7 days!!! So excited to meet my girls!!

 

I had an OB appointment yesterday (everything went wonderfully) I go back in 2 weeks.
I also have a perinatologist appointment on Thursday for a growth scan

 

i had my 29wk appt canceled and went instead today since they wanted to check me for preeclampsia.

I have tarsal tunnel and carpal tunnel, am spilling trace amts of protein (which is new) and my blood pressure looked good. they are going to bump my appts to every other week instead of every 3 wks just to keep an eye on things. I am supposed to wear wrist braces and he wants me to get new shoes (my flip flops were nixed) and stay off my feet.......there is no way I can stay off my feet.

the babies look good. both are vertex, and i am measuring out at 37wks right now. i go back in 2 weeks.

 

Hello! I am 23 weeks and had an appt today:

-Est. weights are girl=1 lb 4 oz Boy= 1 lb 8 oz (90th percentile) checking me for GD at next appt in 2 wks due to his large size :laughing: hoping he is just a big boy!

-cervix is awesome...over 5 cm, long, closed and high

- I am measuring 10 weeks ahead (33 wks) scary!!

-bp was ok for me 138/75. had a +1 protein in my urine, so they are sending it to lab to check for UTI.

-Baby A is vertex, and B is transverse. Inquired about vaginal vs c-section today. My peri says that she is only comfortable delivering vaginally if they are BOTH vertex...

 

It is so uplifting to hear about all the good appointments.

Today I had a routine 18w5d OB/Gyn office visit. Urine=good, blood=drawn, fundal height=24 weeks.

Chatongris...how come the doc is nixing the flip-flops? Just curious because I am living in my flops these days. Shoes are so hot on the feet!

I had my 33 week peri appt today. It went great Baby A is vertex and weighs 4 lbs 10 oz and Baby B is transverse and weighs 4 lbs 2 oz. My cervix has not changed. Went to the Steve Martin concert at the Denver Botanic Gardens last night and my ankles are still recovering.

 

because there isnt any arch support. he is fine with flip flops IF there is arch support, but mine were the cheapest pair at target lol

 

Peri appointment today for the growth scan of the girls.

Baby A measured 1 lb 6 oz and Baby B measured 1 lb 11 oz. The discordance between them went from 23% 3 weeks ago to 17% this time! YAY! Fluid and doppler levels look GREAT. I go back next week and will have another growth scan in 3 weeks.
