The apple juice was this morning while my husband was trying to get them downstairs to go to school.

The bracelet one actually kind of stunned me because the bracelets are identical except for the names, and they were brand new, so it's not like she knew which one was her's ahead of time. So I'd like to think she can read her name, which she probably can by shape recognition. She will take a word search (I have a couple of books in my bag for commuting) and go through and find letters that I ask her to.

Your kids read any good books lately?

 Too cute! Mine say the same thing about farting, only they call it tooting. I'll say "did someone just poop?" and the response is "no, smelly toot"

My sister in law asked Alice if she "tooted" when we were visiting last time and she said with such glee, "No, I farted!"

Ooh, I love fart stories! Today A & I were racing their ride-on toys around the house. Ivy: "Now we're going to go really fast! No, wait, I need to fart. [intense concentration like a 3 mo old pooping] OK, let's go!"

    Your kids are hilarious!

I caught them "reading" my Kelly Link the other day...

Books for them - current bedtime favorites are All the World (the illustrations are to die for!), Peter and the Wolf, Wocket in my Pocket, old issues of Animal Baby magazine (which I think is kind of lame but they really like it) and a book called The Seven Silly Eaters (so-so story written in execrable rhyme, but great illustrations by the illustrator of All the World, and the kids love it, so whatever).

 My DD and DS love to tell people either they tooted or the person they are talking to tooted.

My kids call it "fluffing" which may explain why my boys (who are fascinated with bodily functions) think it's gross that Meghan likes PB and Fluff.
