Has this ever happend to anyone?

I dont know how most of you go food shopping or any kind of shopping, But I use my double wide stroller every place I go..I usually grag a basket and if it gets overloaded, I use the bottom of the stoller. Has anyone who does this ever forgot to pay for something by accident?

 

I made it to the front doors of Walmart once and realized I had shampoo tucked in the canopy thing on their Graco Duo, I just handed it to the Walmart greeter and said that I was so sorry, I didn't realize that it was still in the stroller! Now I am extra careful! :laughing:

 

I made it all the way out to the car once and realized I had a pack of baby food (the $1 double tubs that Gerber packs) in the bottom...since it was starting to rain I just tossed it in my bag...as far as I know Karma has not yet come back to bite me...

 

Oh yes. I went grocery shopping once with the double stroller and a cart and left two packages of filet mignon in the folded up canopy of the stroller. I didn't realize until the next day when we went to get ready for the dinner party we were having and I couldn't find the steak. I finally figure it out 20 minutes later when I found two ruined packages of steak still in the stroller in the car. I hated having to go back and pay for something I didn't even use!

 

I am so glad its not just me,....it happened to me the other day and Believe it or not I got arrested for $12 of items, that I didnt see there were in the bottom of my stroller , at the time I didnt feel like dragging 2 kids back into the store (while screaming) so I just put the items in my car (not all) and they actually arrested me and took me and my kids to the police station....I am apalled!! It was a simple mistake!!!!

 

OH MY!!! I'm so sorry for that! wow!!!

I used to give the kids a canteloupe to play with in the grocery store. Well, one day it must have gotten covered up with something and we checked out with them still having it shared between them... the bag boy wouldn't even take it back inside for me. He just said, take it, no big deal! anyway, I did justify it by thinking that there have been plenty of times that I've gotten rotten fruit and not taken it back. But yet, I look very carefully now!

 

I forgot snacks one day when the girls were about 2 and we opened a box of animal crackers. After eating without thinking I tossed it into my purse when we were done. I realized in the parking lot when I fished out my keys...I felt so awful... we went back in and went to customer service. They thought it was quite humorous that I am holding an obviously empty box and asking to pay for it.
