I am a SAHM and love it. I also like to cook. We often make a homemade breakfast. I feel like we have the same things all the time. Wether they are easy or hard, would you share your top 5 breakfast meals. I did use wholesometoddlerfood.com when they were younger but we need some new ideas. Here is what we have:

pancakes/waffles/french toast-all kind of the same
    scrambled eggs/toast
    muffins
    bagels
    cereal
    fruit/yogurt
    baby dutch apple (from wholesometoddlerfood.com)

I am sure there are other moms who are looking for new breakfast ideas, please share.

Not much help here -- we have a very strict rotation:

day 1 (me): cream of wheat
    day 2 (DH): oatmeal
day 3 (me): scrambled eggs and English muffins
    day 4 (DH): oatmeal

(I.e., DH always does oatmeal -- except on his weekend day, when he does pancakes -- and I alternate between cream of wheat and scrambled eggs.)

Every once in a while I make crepes, but only on weekends because it's kind of a pain. And every once in a while (especially when we're out of cream of wheat or eggs) I make Kashi frozen waffles.

We always have some kind of fruit, except on the rare occasions when there isn't any fruit in the house.

I might be tempted to mix it up a bit more, except that my kids are such creatures of routine, someone would be sure to have a fit if we didn't have whatever was normally scheduled for that day.

breakfast burritos - eggs, salsa, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, meat if you don't mind two proteins in a meal, wrapped up in a tortilla

    muffins
    fruit with yogurt and cereal
    grits
    oatmeal
    pancakes

If I ask them what they want for breakfast, they always say pancakes. If I'm cooking pancakes, I put some fruit in them sometimes. But sometimes it's chocolate chips. :D

We get into food ruts around here, but here is probably the lastest top 5:

    pancakes/waffles
    granola bars
    cereal
    yogurt
    Quaker breakfast cookies

Yeah, we don't have time for a lot of homemade breakfasts so they do eat more packaged stuff. I'm trying to change that and have been making extra pancakes or hard boiled eggs the night before.

I love pancakes topped with yogurt and fruit instead of syrup.

We do fruit and yogurt at every breakfast and Carnation instant breakfast also. Then we have waffles, pancakes (different varieties), french toast, oatmeal, cereal, grits, eggs and turkey bacon (I don't eat pork very often), omelettes, peaches and cream (in season, YUMMY!), cinnamon toast, doughnuts, coffee cake with eggs, breakfast sandwhiches made with english muffins, brown sugar and cinnamon bagels and cream cheese.
I try to pile as much into them as possible, especially the twins. Breakfast has always been my big boys largest meal. There are days when I think they will never stop eating, LOL!

~ Oatmeal mixed with berries, bananas and applesauce or yogurt
~waffles topped with applesauce and fruit
    ~ Yogurt mixed with berries
    ~ cold cereal with fruit

It's a little hard here becasue one of mine is allergic to eggs and lactose intolerant so I have to give one soy yogurt/milk and the other gets regular and I don't bother with eggs.

You could choose NON- breakfast foods for breakfast. The Europeans eat pate, sliced meat like deli meat, cheese, crackers. If your kids have a hard time eatting meat or veggies at supper you might try these for breakfast.

    "Cheesy spinach Rice cakes"

1/2 cup finely grated parmeasan cheese
250 g pk of frozen spinach thawed
250g packet of pre-cooked white rice
    3 eggs beaten lightly
    250g cottage cheese
    125 g fetta cheese crumbled
    3 green onions, chopped finely.

grease muffin tins then put HALF of the parmeasane cheese in tins.
Squeeze water from spinach . Combine spinach, rice, egg, cottage cheese, fetta, onion in a large bowl. Mix then put into muffin tins. Back 350 for about 30 mins or until brown and just set. Stand 5 minutes .

I have made this with various cheeses and couscous instead of cooked rice. Great way to use up leftover rice from supper !!

Also you can freeze pancakes. Just make them, put them into plastic bags when cooled and then when you heat you heat on LOW in the microwave for just a few seconds. I've actually used cookie cutter shapes and food dye to make different shapes inside the pancakes --- but I didn't have kids then. Great for any twin mom !!

Yup, I just made a double batch yesterday and froze the majority of them in ziploc baggies once they cooled down.

We do this too and I put them in the toaster or the microwave.

    To the OP:

Every morning my girls get a yogurt and fruit smoothy. Then we do cereal, oatmeal, pancakes or bagels with that. Sometimes they'll eat cheesey eggs (scrambled eggs with cheese), but its usually cereal, smoothy, and oatmeal.

I know you do scrambled eggs...not a different meal but more a variance...I was surprised to learn that all my kiddos love overeasy/overmedium/fried eggs (whatever you want to call them).

    My kiddos generally prefer:

    eggs and raisin toast
    blueberry pancakes and bacon
    piggies in a blanket
    cinnamon rolls
    peanut butter or nutella toast
