The Bachelorette - Ali

The Bachelorette premieres tonight on CBS ABC at 9 pm!! :yahoo: I'm convinced that Ali will bring a whole lotta drama with her. :spiteful:

I watched it last night. Ali's dress annoyed me. If you keep having to hoist it up to walk, then maybe a different dress would have been better. A couple of the guys she kept annoy me too. :laughing:

 

I like Reality Steve, but I won't share what he knows.

 

I started watching last night when DH came in and reminded me that at the end of The Bachelor I told him NOT to allow me to watch The Bachelorette! He took the remote away and made me watch Law and Order! Thankfully summer school starts in two weeks and I have a Monday night class. I'm not sure I can stand a season of Ali and her overuse of the word "amazing". Thankfully I LOVE reality Steve and I think he's so funny, so I will keep up with the craziness. Now I can go back to Real Housewives of New Jersey opcorn:

 

I love the Reality Steve site. I watched the beginning of the show last night but it's so much build up to a little bit of drama. So how does Steve get his info, does he say?

 

He gets it from his sources/moles in ABC!

 

The only episode I've seen so far is the one from the other night.

Ali needs to stop putting her fingers in her mouth. It is driving me crazy!

Are we not talking about specifics yet? :unknw: No names have been mentioned.

 

The weather guy is pretty funny - he almost seems like a Martin Short character you would see on SNL or SCTV for those old-timers who remember that great show. I do recall seeing him quite a bit here in Houston doing the weather on the NBC affiliate but apparently he quit (or was fired?) shortly before filming this show. That one 'dangerous' guy who left the last episode was about as bad as it gets - you have to give Ali credit for figuring out quickly what a loser he was. His conversation with her where he wouldn't look at her when she talked to him was odd. If he was on the show The Mentalist, Simon Baker would have had convicted in seconds.

 

Is it just me, or do a lot of these guys seem like duds? Not a lot of really interesting guys so far (from what I have seen). I am hoping the personalities start to come out a little bit more as the episodes progress.

 

The weather guy is actually originally from Canton, MA. My sister and his sister are good friends and were college roomies. I met him years ago. It was funny because my sister knew he had tried out, but Abbe couldn't tell her he made it until ABC announced the guys.

 

I like the guy from Cape Cod, too!!

I'm behind, hope to catch up soon! But tennis matches on Monday nights are cramping my TV watching AS IF!

 

So true! I liked him in the beginning but then he showed too much anxiety/uneasiness and ended up seeming way too needy.
So I wonder what the true story was...quit or fired?

Chris L. He is adorable!!


My faves right now are: Roberto (yummmmm), Chris L. and Kirk. I wasn't too sure about Kirk but he showed an awesome side to himself last night when he convinced her to leave the date since she was feeling so awful. The others seemed to be consumed with getting their time with her.

IMO, Kasey is still there because he's producers pick. Why the heck would they let him go before the drama of showing her the tattoo. What was he thinking?!?!!

So sad that Jesse was let go, but I do understand why. She definitely seems like the city girl. He wasn't one of my front runners for her anyway.

 

I just caught up with last week's episode.

Ditto: Same favs. I'd put Roberto in third place though!

Ditto: Kasey is definitely the producers pick.

Ditto: Granted, I knew Ali wouldn't pick him in the end but I enjoyed looking at him. He left way too soon.

I was surprised she kept Chris N. We haven't seen much of him at all.

Am I the only one that gets a creepy feeling from Kirk? I don't know what it is, but I just don't like him!

My favorite is Frank, not the hottest guy but def my favorite! I also like Chris L. and Ty :wub:

 

Oooh Brigette, no no no no!! No Frank, ewwww. :laughing: To each his own I guess. I'm not a fan of Frank's, but she sure does seem to be smitten by him!!

I'm not creeped out by Kirk at all. My guess was that he was so reserved/kept things so upbeat and positive so he didn't have to reveal too much of what he had gone through right away. I can't imagine how awful that must have been for him!!

Next week's show is going to be saucy!! I read something in People that totally gave away what is most likely going down next week. I'm bummed they gave out so much info because I would have enjoyed being left guessing. :lol:

 

No surprise that Chris N. went home. He barely said three words and showed no emotion.

Frank? He kinda gives me the heebie-jeebies!

And the preview for next week: Who has the girlfriend? I haven't read any spoilers and have no clue!

Did anyone else notice that the previews were for the season and not next week on The Bachelorette? :unknw: Unfortunately, I didn't see much of Chris in the previews.

 

Yes, I was so mad!! I wonder if they did that because all the entertainment mags are spilling the rest of the season. :grr: I don't ever remember it being this revealing and it's ticking me off!!

It looks like Frank, Ty, and Roberto (hummina hummina :spiteful: ) make it to Tahiti.

Jake and Vienna will be on next week to tell their story. Cannot wait to hear all about it.

They sure did. Top 3 are in the Tahiti shots. I saw them all. Unless...she brings 4 to Fiji. I am questioning one thing I saw. Not sure where this shot comes into play.

He's final 3 in Tahiti, so he'll be going home there. Scum.Bag. I didn't like him from the beginning. AT.ALL. :grr:

I watched Kirk but couldn't stomach watching most of Frank's hometown date.
Did you see the preview the week before where they show him going to a hotel room to see someone? It was in the tabloids everywhere that he had met up with his ex-girlfriend and they got it all on tape. I was ASSuming this might have been what it was...yet they never showed it. Proves why I don't usually watch the previews anymore. :grr:

Ok, did anyone feel a little dirty when Ali and Roberto closed the curtain on their overnight date!?! Very hot!

I love Roberto and Chris and am really happy that Frank is gone! I'm glad that he faced her like a "snag" (sensitive new age guy) man and told her. Yes, it was hard to watch! I was a little teared up with her just because I felt for HER. I kinda believe that he was genuinely a little confused up to that point (that he went to see Nicole) and it's sorta just like the Bachelor has to make a choice, Frank had to make his choice and for Ali's sake I am SO glad he chose Nicole. Frank's sensitivity is what she had to be drawn to.

Roberto and Chris probably want to hang out and go play beach volleyball together when they aren't filming. They seem like cool guys who know another cool guy when they see him.

I predict Chris will be the next bachelor! :wub: I was so proud of him for opening up and when he said "God I love you" I was practically crying!

I kinda like her with Chris better, but I think she'll pick Roberto - they always go for the stronger "chemistry" (see how well that's worked out? Ed and Jillian just broke up, Jake and Vienna were nothing but chemistry - no depth) because they mistake that for something more! It's not enough in the long run! That's why Trista and Ryan got married and have kids! I'm just saying!

 

Feel free to :slap: me! I totally thought her and Frank would end up together after the first couple weeks but once he started acting insecure it went downhill for me. I teared up a bit when he was talking to her because I felt so sorry for her. He knew she was insecure about this whole thing and to do that to her, sucks.

I :wub: Chris and I really hope she chooses him! He's so funny! But I agree with the chemistry thing! I teared up when they were talking too!

 

If Ali doesn't choose Chris, is he outgoing enough to be the bachelor? I think he is very cool guy and I would love to hang out and drink a few beers with him, but don't know if he would want the spotlight of being the bachelor. I really hope she picks Chris.

 

Sooooo........I have heard several rumors (but still not going to check it out with RS) that she picks no one. Tomorrow is the night. I can't wait!!! :clapping:

I haven't seen them pick one of the final 2 to be the next Bachelor/ette so I'm not sure about Chris being the next one.

Side note: My friend's friend was staying on the Cape for vacation, went out to a bar for the night, and met CHRIS!! I got the name of the bar and would love to go there for drinks too (if it weren't 2 hours away :lol: ).
