I am 27wks with di/di twins. Okay so Friday night my husband and I had sex which is becoming interesting in finding a position that doesn't hurt. So then yesterday I was up and around a lot! I was feeling really good so I went shopping in the morning, library with kids, came home made lunch, and then the park, and shopping at Wal-Mart. Well surprise surprise I started getting some braxton hicks at Wal-Mart. They were not contractions. I know they were braxton hicks. We left and I drank a bottle of water in the car on the way home and had a snack and never had another one afterwards. So then in the middle of the night I got up to pee and noticed a tinge of something on my panty liner. I tend to dripple urine so I am always wearing a pad. But it wasn't really pink but it wasn't really yellow either. I know in the night through first thing in the morning my urine is pretty dark. Once I start drinking water and other things during the day then it gets light. So I don't know for sure if I dripple darker urine or possiblity spotted a bit. I haven't seen anything on my toliet paper. The whole liner smelled of urine so that's no a good indicator eitehr. I haven't had anything since. So I am not planning on calling yet. I just planned on taking it very easy today and drinking lots of water. I will keep an eye out when I go pee. Am I being bad not calling? I think between the sex and overdoing it yesterday that I just pushed myself too much. I figure if I see blood or have more BHC I will call then. WWYD????

I think you are fine for now. If you are no longer having any BH, and you do not see any bright red blood. You are most likely right that you just over did it yesterday. Although if it makes you feel better to call, then call.

Agree w/Slipper. I had a similar experience that started Friday with some brown spotting on a liner. Freaked me OUT!!!! I called the Dr and the first thing they asked me was "have you been doing any unusually strenuous (for you at this point in your twin pregnancy) activity in the past 24 hours?" And I KNEW I had - too much walking to and from a minor league ball game, sitting outside in 85 degree heat, picking up and carrying three loads of heavy laundry baskets. They said to chalk the spotting up to that and not worry - just hydrate plenty and try to take it easy and NOT do those things again!! (bummer since I enjoyed the feeling of being able to walk somewhere....but apparrently not good right now!!). The spotting could continue for 48 hours or so is also what the Dr told me, which has held true. It has subsided a lot though.

But if it makes you feel better, I woudl call!!

Thanks ladies. I don't want to call. Especially not on the weekend. They will end up sending me to L&D to be monitored. I am just going to take it easy, drink lots of water, and relax today. As much as I can with three cranky little kids. Seems like nobody got any sleep last night! But it's going to be movie day in the house until my husband gets home from work in a few hours. I am so tired so I might make everyone take some quiet time after lunch and we all can take a nap. I haven't spotted anymore. I am not even completely convinced I spotted. Wondering if it was just really dark urine. But if it happens again or I start to have more braxton hicks I will call.
